Designed/ built to today's standards, not 10+ years ago... I literally don't think anybody understands what I'm getting at.

Interesting but I still can't get over why nobody modernises these kinda designs. They're all still very contained and everything is still awfully modular (as in, each thing is wrapped in some border). Can't see this working responsively. :-(

I would love to see some more modern concepts. These are nice and all but they're very web 2.0!

It's appealing, but there's no consistency. It's also really difficult to tell what you've done because it's so obvious that there are components from other design thrown in.

Is that all the community care about now? Why not actually leave some feedback? What interesting lives you must all lead!

I don't think the site conveys a professional image. The design is inconsistent. Try and choose more appropriate media (icons, colors) and focus on better negative space (look at your margins). You should also complete all pages before launching a website as this may otherwise deter your...

OP, are you going to give us some better previews? I'd prefer to see your designs in their entirety - as I'm sure others would!

Did something similar a while back. Tried to integrate communities - didn't work. People don't like not knowing if the room they're about to go in is gonna be full of native speakers or not...

If anchor doesn't tickle your fancy, there's always You must be registered for see element.. It's free to develop, but to use in a live site it asks that you support them and buy a license. It's not obligatory though - and the developer has not wasted their time securing it.

I understand, but were it on my hotel, I wouldn't be happy to use a radio that advertised another hotel. Perhaps there's a much better way to monetise and make this community radio viable? Just a thought!

I'm not sure how practical it would be. It could work but it would be a lot of hassle for someone - and for practically nothing in return. I disagree with Wreckless. If this isn't monetised it will almost certainly flop in the first few months when those involved become less and less interested...
