I'm still around, just tied up with work and other pursuits. I was banging out arcade world records a bit a few years ago, but it kind of all fell away from me. Now I'm locked down like everyone else :-( I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy :-)

So the argument you're making is that if I want to be great at UX engineering, the best place to start is getting a Graphic Design degree? You're way off the mark here and I truly don't think you're completely comprehending what UX actually is.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just came back online and saw this. Your argument is still false. UX also takes into account how easy/intuitive an interface is to actually use. I could create one of the most beautiful interfaces in the world for my application and the UX could still be poop.

You either have no Ducking idea what I'm talking about or what the difference between UI, UX, and feature/function even is or you're deliberately trying to derail what I'm telling you by changing the subject.

I didn't say Apple created UI. I said they built their entire company on creating first class user experiences. There is a big difference between UI and UX.
