If I'm not mistaken (which I very well might be) the earliest build of Habbo from January 2001 to (at least) March 2001 was actually just an English translated version of a Hotel Goldfish build with a different hotel view. I know that v1 retros exist, so in theory, couldn't some of these files...

It's not so much getting hands on it, it's a case of recreating something that's either lost or (in this case) in another language. Unless you're asking how people even know about this old stuff/where to find it, that's another story in itself.
