You could try and shut down as many apps as you can [Everything except security stuff]. Also, what resolutions are you working with? If the files are extra large it's inevitable for it to take a lot more time.

Erm yes and no. I can see your point but I'm stubborn so only keep reading if you're really bored. I thought that the scattering of light occurring on a matte surface such as the wooden wall make the reflection almost negligible, depending on the intensity of the source of course. However...

Why not go for a digitally enhanced photography? Would've gone with something like a still life photo with some of the elements vectorized or something. Just my two cents. Unless there's a hologram in the orange mess it doesn't quite show of your skills, lol.
