Well that's the thing I don't think it a connection error at all. I can't even get client to open to the point where it will connect is the thing. Like I click on the start.bat in the client folder and it just doesn't do anything at all. All the server logs look fine from what I can see...

So I've pretty much got everything up and running VMwise after a lot of trial and error stuff, but for some reason I can't even get the client to open at all. Does it have to be in a specific folder or something? Although I would have thought even if it wasn't connecting it would at least open...

Yes, I used cultivation for the 3.2 VM as well. Which worked great for me. But no grasscutter or cultivation installed anywhere. Checked folders and Appdata as well. And Proxy settings are all off. I'm stumped. Also thanks for taking the time to help, I appreciate it.

Yes, all files like that. As for the host file changes/proxy. That makes me wonder. I tried a genshin private server that I think had me use a proxy and when I try to login it does have my username from that server saved on login screen. So maybe that's it. Do you know how I would go about...

I've done all the stuff you mentioned. Deleted and downloaded client a few times. Copied .INI and .DLL to folder with the game .exe in it. I still can't get it to connect. I can connect just fine to server with WinSCP so I know it's up and running. I've run the op gip to verify I have the...

I"m having this same issue but still keep connecting to official client even after changing .ini both ip spots and copying them over to the folder where the exe file is. What am I doing wrong? Stumped.
