I'm busy working on my site, sorry.
Never mind, Ian beat you to it. :D
Ok, first, how do I make a strip or whatever that stays on top of the webpage? Kinda like idgames.net/forum when you're running IE.
Bring it faggot!
Yup,it works. Thanks A LOT. I have 2 more short questions though. :D Up to the challenge?
Nope. The php code I gave you should work.
OMG I didn't know that you could put a title in an echo. Lol I thought you had to put it in the <html> part. :O
I don't spoon feed. I gave you what you need, just use it. :P It's good to learn!
You're right. You're my bastard. Lol.
I'm not your bitch.
Lol how about I just send you the index.php via PM? :O
Good lord! <?php if(isset($_GET['act'])){ $act = $_GET['act']; }else{ $act = ''; } switch($act){ case NULL: echo '<title>poseidonBB - powered by poseidonBB</title>'; break; case 'topic': include('topic.php'); break; case default: echo '<title>poseidonBB - powered by poseidonBB</title>'; break; } ?>
Then index.php won't have a title. =/ index.php shows the categories and forums. http://soy.no-ip.biz/poseidonBB
Take out the title in index.php
lol, that's what I tried. Basically here's my index.php --------------- ... <title>poseidonBB - powered by poseidonBB</title ... ... ... if($act == 'topic') include('topic.pp' ... ----------------------------
just add <title>blahlajdf</title> in the topic.php and take it out of index. if it's in index and you control all your pages from index, each title will be the same. therefor you will have to have a <title> in every file you include via $act lol. does that make sense?
http://soy.no-ip.biz/poseidonBB/index.php As you can see, every page is named poseidonBB - Powered by poseidonBB
Ok, so like, if I have index.php with a page title (<html><title</title></html>, something liek that) and I have a page which index includes topic.php(if($act == 'topic') include('topic.php');), naturally, I'd want the title of topic.php to be different title than that of index.php. How would I "override" the index.php title?
Yes. Very good at them. :]
You do know PHP/HTML, right?
