Second Life - For people who are into programing/scripting and design.
I wanted to post for all thoughs who bash it.
It's not a game but it is a game. You must know people actualy making a REAL LIVING off of the game.
You seen everything in the game right? Thats made by players. Now they have quick time built into the game. So last night I went to the theater and sat there with bunch of other people and watched meangirls :) (btw the red hot omfg thats enough to make a old man go un limped) anyways lol. Thats just amazing how they have used the engine witch is Havok.
Even I make some money and I'm going make some money refering the people who think my little rant about how good the game is will change some of your minds.
Last night one of my RL friends I got him to join. I showed him how to use a C4 I made :P
After a the 500th IM saying hes sorry he blew like 100 people up in a bar he placed the C4 in the dance floor at a club and they all blew away from the sim and area lol.
I made some T-Shirts like computer geek wear and sold it to make money in game not only that I rented space some clubs and placed a few Slot Machines. THis great income from me and lots of fun for the other players. Now if you know scripting well you can do a lot more even connect your website into the game.
About 1K L's in the game worth almost 4US thats no joke and its easy to trade money back and forth on the market. It is basicly like trading on the canadian / usa market.
People create items they can lock the source code make so they can or can't make copys. SO if you sell a rare paining you can make it so it copys from the store so you can keep selling them and others Can't copy it over and over once they have it or they can if you set that way.
Or there other paintings that people do and other objects like rare where they sell it more and you take the one and only copy of it :) (I did that with some Eve-online) screens worked well as it was amazing art work :)
Me and chris (rl friend) after his blow up experince went for some sky jumping and then took a plane for a ride. then he went offline. I went to this island thats actualy making a mmorpg out of the game it was actualy fun and intresting.
I mean there rollercoaster now movie theaters and all this done and made by the players.
So well thats my thoughts and I can't see any reason anyone should dis it besides saying I'm not into that sort of thing cuz this game has nothing to really dis about got everything. Hey Mental can finaly even get a girlfriend in the game :P
We could make a RageZone City or place and such..
It's amazing.
Tonight I will post screenshots if anyone intrested the GAME IS NOW FREE FOR FIRST ACCOUNTS. Theres no need to make prem account unless you want some land to build off.
People in this game even pay to watch there movies like this blue dimand place I'm right now at home making money when Im at school just sitting on a chair.
It's fun and worth it.
