[SOLVED]Help: How to protect server

Ciao abbiamo startato un server gratuito di airrivals Episodio 3.5... unico problema è la sicurezza
Il giorno dell'appertura abbiamo subito un attacco ed il server è crashato, alleghiamo i log.
Ci sono metodi per proteggere il server da questi attacchi?
Cosa consigliate di fare?
P.S. sto cercando programmatori italiani che abbiano voglia di aiutarci in questo progetto.

Hello we have started a free AceOnline server with EP 3.5 server...
Our problem is the security!
Since opened we suffered an attack and the server has crashed, see attached logs.
There are methods to protect the servers from these attacks?

for protect your server form ddos attack the best thing to do (the most effective thing to do), is to find a profesional service who will protect your server versus DDoS attack.

some server provider now have DDoS mitigeaion as a free service (following forum rules I can't ads for them, but you can certainly found some thread speaking about these kind of thing on the forum, in other section)

else thee some paid service to protect your server, look at this these way to find a valuable solution (better than all you will find in ace section)

for server pat fail of security you will have to write your protection to catch some packet you made server crash, or shut down or freeze.... to do this you will need a bit of knowledge with c++ (or other language like c,java,python...), thi protection must read server packet before the server and send the packet to the server if this type of packet is not in the black list, of the black listed packet.

by searching in old thread you can found some information about how are crypt the packets. and so it's will permit to you to write your own protection software.

You can also get to work with some DoS/DDoS Protection provider, be aware of cheap offers tho, because majority of them will not be able to help you in specific cases, since they are just resellers of something else they don't own.

Ok, ty all for support, now server is secure.
Now i have a new problem:

i start the server, and it start without problem (i check the log after start)
but when i try to login with a client, the client have a crash with error "connection has been los...."
i check the log and they report this:
