am trying to host the DN then my friend will connect but it stuck on the character selection. i open all the port. and put my IP address on all the 127.0.0.1 on the config/system folder/config folder. he can connect but when he try to select the character and click start it just stuck in there and nothing happen
anyone who can help me with this
i have experienced this 2 "stucks" however you need to tell me which stuck do you have. 1st. Stuck the program froze and if you open taskmanager it tell you that the exe is not responding. 2nd stuck the program still running, you can tell from the character you select still have their motion in their own stance
The problem is that loginserver sends you to local-ip gameserver/village server so if you have router it will send player to (192.168.1.xxx) instead of sending it to the public server ip.
There's a quick fix for it:
Install microsoft loopback adapter and assign your PUBLIC IP to it , restart gameserver and village server and it should work.
@Alin1337 where not using a lan connection will this still work? what i mean is my friend is from another country and if he trys to connect it stucks on character selecter he can still select characters tho. but when he click start it stucks at that part.
is there possible that i can add you via skype...
