Offsets and stuff

Hi.


It's a simple question for a complex 'problem' , about offsets in gameserver.exe and main.exe how do I know which offset is for a specific thing ? i see alot of guides and people saying somethings like "that offset XXXXXX belongs to Bone Blade", how they know it ? how can i search for a specific offset? ( for example, if i want to find a offset correspondent to Jewel of Bless, which offset i'm supposed to look for? ), so how i can "read" the offsets ?
If isn't asking much i would appreciate Tutorials about this, also i'm sorry if i said anything nonsense.

I think offsets of item codes and such are numbers but in Hex codes.
for example the offset is 0x07FD21: 405489 111111
then the code is 405489 and the price for jewel of bless = 111111 =
111111 = 1118481 zen
111111= hex code so 1118481 comes if you convert demical to hex

that's more basic to it but dont understand what you mean with bone blade offset, there is no such thing of bone blade offset , there is offset for bone blade to created or drop rate etc.
thats why its not easy to find offsets i guess.

so if you'd like to search something in ollydbg u will need to search a "constant" in ollydbg with the hex code that you converted from your demical code (demical = real number 123456 etc)
hex can be also 1A2B3C etc.
