First meeting of a RZ member

When did you first meet another Ragezone member? Who was it and why?

Personally, the first time I met someone from here was about 2 years after the forum first started up. It was Exy. We both traveled to London to go to a nightclub called Slimelight. (Which is a all night alt night club.)

The day was quite the adventure! I ended up dressed in a chinese wedding dress and New Rock boots. We freaked some guy out in a Tescos bathroom near camden. Skipped holding hands to get back into the club after going to get some "money" from the chippy just out of view of the door staff! Exy pulled! It was a biker, he can tell you more! On the way back to the station Exy introduced me to iced coffees. It was a day/night of many many firsts! TBH it was one of the greatest nights out I've had excluding RageStag (which sadly can never be beaten)

I can still remember RageStag like it was yesterday it was absolutely awesome, damn time has flown by so quickly.

I'd like to tell my very first experience, except this was before I actually met anyone. This took place only a few days before the party date, back in 2007 when I'd just recently turned 18 :P.

I was going through a very complicated period in my life, to the point where I was purposely isolating my self from everyone except for my immediate family. It actually makes me wonder why I ever agreed to go to my first RageParty when I really wasn't feeling my self. Anyways, a few days before the party Exy calls me because he heard from somebody I was no longer coming. This was also the first time ever I'd heard & spoken to Exy properly.

I gotta say, the guy was an amazing comfort. He obviously knew I wasn't coping to well but somehow after a good hour on the phone he managed to convince me to come, which of course I did. If it wasn't for Exy being Exy I may have never met anybody because I probably wouldn't have turned up to any of the others after that and met nobody. It's really something how seemingly small events in your life, can massively change things for your future.

Cool thread idea! For me it was waaaaay back when I held my first rageparty. My parents had gone on holiday and I had stayed home, so naturally I organised a house party, loads of my irl mates and I also put the word out on here inviting anyone who wanted to come.

I actually got the idea from RaGESTOCK. Which was the idea of the one and only @Capricorn He was the first ragezoner to organise an irl meet and about 15 people were supposed to turn up. Everyone was pumped for it and days before everyone pretty much pulled out. Only one person was brave enough to turn up and meet their friends! @Evilkitten obviously has more of a spine than anyone who ever registered on rz!

To be fair we were all young and it was a leap of faith but it gave me the idea and the confidence to try a house party meetup. My first party only two other ragezoners turned up, Alucard and SicSpeedhorn (wish I knew their actual usernames offhand to tag them here). Sic also brought a mate with him too who wasn't registered on the forum at the time. It was a lot of fun and it was great to meet online friends for the first time and partake in British binge drinking together.

It wasn't until the following year when I had a party with more ragezoners than "locals". That's when we had like 20 ragezoners all rocking out together!

That was an incredible party! I'd go Slimelight again for sure, you looked divine in that wedding dress xD

I remember getting the train down, it was my first time down south on my own, and while we had known each other for years we had never met irl!

That biker dude was throwing himself at me lol! I remember us sitting down chilling and he came past half naked and I'm wasted just smiling at everyone who comes past and he's all like, "he likes me!" Cue 30 minutes of him surreptitiously walking past every few minutes and then rolling around topless in front of us on the nearest table. We worked out what was happening, smiled at him again and went to another floor to boogy!

Partying all night and then staaaaaarving, it was hilarious talking to the bouncers, we wanted food and there was no way they were letting us back in so we were like "yeah we just need to get some money and we will brb!" eventually they made the deal that we had to skip holding hands to get back in xD Fool on him, we probably would have done that anyway! xD

Easily one of my best nights ever!

ROFL! I completely forgot about that till you mentioned it!

I've just been crying for the last 5 minutes remember this, oh my god what a memory. I still remember the cold wet dread of fear I felt when the necklace exploded, seeing Ria's face afterwards made me wanna suck on my thumb for comfort.

I met Ron briefly because his car needed a state inspection and his tint wouldn't pass....so he stood there for 15 minutes while I worked...then left...it was quite awkward lol

the first ragezone member i meet is Drav3n and MysterDev and i knew them how to make a Cabal Server and Drav3n is a Developer of Infinity Cabal and Epic Cabal and Evolution Cabal and its the same they just change the name of it i think its a months ago i meet him because i registered in ragezone in FEB. 2014 ..

First person I met was makaveli I believe and was before I went on to meet Capricorn. At that time was still with twatters and I'm still good friends with to this day.

Not sure what prompted the meeting but I do remember makaveli having a brief love affair with Angel I think her name was or could be her official Mir ingame name. Anyways we had a night of drinks, food and banters. He ended up remaining in Leeds for year so got to see him a few times after that.

I remember that in the autumn, after meeting Capricorn, ex, sic(Mike btw was his real name), one of his friends I think, strider and makaveli went on to have our own rage party.

Now I'm not sure what the standings is now on who has met with the most RZ members. I must be first or a extremely close second to exclamatio. O.O

Ahh nice, I couldn't remember if you met maka pre or post ragestock! I remember that rageparty in Leeds, well parts of it, I was hyper drunk! I remember strider joking about the last time he saw us we were a lot smaller (in game ofc!) and maka chasing us down the street with a bb gun! I remember drinking in a bunch of places but mostly going to the club dust(?), drinking a lot of vodka coke and dancing like demons! I still get random memories back from this one over the years! I remember the next day pukey/mike/sic doing a bunch of C.K.Y stunts before the hangover was simply too much for us all.

Who else went to Leeds rageparty? Master D was there, I remember having a boogy.

side note: The fastest I have ever been in a car in my life was with big-d.

I think it was shortly before Leeds there was another attempted Rageparty, sic advertised a house party he was going to and invited RZers down but I think it was only me that turned up to that with him. I have no idea who lived there but between us we puked in the gardens like 10+ times (very conservative estimate), I remember laying on my back in what was probably the kitchen and he was opening beer barrels into my mouth from the table above! Can't remember which year but I went clubbing with sic a few times too, love that guy! Do you have him on facebook or anything? I had him on MySpace then lost contact after he probably exploded from his epic post rate on here that will never be matched as long as the sun shines.

We can count how many RZer's we have met next week!

I think you are mistaken as there has been 2 rageparties in Leeds one hosted by makaveli and one by myself... I remember quite clearly the one with makaveli as I met up with strider beforehand and we all met you a two others one including Sic at the Coach station. I also remember makaveli hiding my top layer of my top and I never did get it back <.<

The one with MasterD was when he drove up and he brought you, sic and his friend. I remember him sleeping in his car and we was all debating what to do as he was drunk, in his car with his keys and the legal sides lol. XD

Always wanted to go to one, just never had the money :/. These are all awesome stories you guys have :).

I'm sure D was at the earlier one too, I remember him sitting in the club and not wanting to dance at first but got up in the end anyway, if it wasn't him then who was it O.o On the coach it was me, sic, big-d, and sics mate who came to a few rageparties. He did make an account in the end but hardly posted, can't for the life of me remember it though!

The one where D drove us back we didn't go clubbing, that one was your house party, I have enough brain cells to remember them as separate events but still can't remember everything in order :P

You might be right... Be nice to get masterD to confirm it. I think all the rage parties have blended into one now. XD

The year was 2006, the place was my student flat in Salford (manchestercrappyfuckwittownstolemybrownotherfuckerswillneverbeforgiven!). It was my first year of uni and me and exy realised that we lived "relatively" close to each other so I rang him up and asked him if he was up for a meet up and stoner jam.

I picked him up from Salford Crescent train station which was a 5 minute walk from my flat and we jammed with a fair bit of weed, games and the usual bullshit conversations that we'd have on msn or on the forum threads. It was a fast realisation that neither of us were different to how we were with each other online to in person. In effect our online personalities were near identical to our offline ones because fuck knows we're just boss like that.

The first member I met was falron from the mir2 server 3 years ago. I don't think he had a forum name. We met at Victoria station and has a subway and talked shit for about 3 hours until my next train was about to leave. We still meet up to this day :) I had to so this all in secret because my boyfriend at the time would have freaked out that i met another bloke and assume ridiculous things.
Second person i met was @Junkers for 5 mins in London while I was running late to go set up fory exhibition 2 years ago. Since then nick has spent the day here, met me in Blackpool and stayed for an extended weekend and gone to download with me.
The 3rd and final person was @danse. He flew over last year and stayed at mine. He really wanted to meet nick but myself and nick thought it wasn't plausible for him to come down so we decided to meet up in Blackpool, halfway(ish) for both of us. Adam didn't know at all :) when I arrived 3 hours late (due to adam not me!) Nick walked in front of my car and adam called me a douche xD it was a brilliant day.
The second the Adam came was for the extended weekend with nick.

Anyone else feel like a mass meet up for a day somewhere is a great idea?

There's a few of us here from Dallas.

It's weird there's one member that lives within 20 miles of me and we have never met...and you guys fly across countries to meet each other lol

So far @ChewBecca and @danse are the only guys I've met but at RaGEPARTY this week I'll be able to tick off @exclamatio, @Negata, @JC/Raiden and plenty of other names!

Back on the RZL2 server (evil33t's version) I met a lot of great people, and I made a personal connection with a handful of them. We were all in a clan together, and I still talk/play games with several of them to this day.


I met two of these people (forum names BaldDwarfMan and Kuriso) in 2009 when we all met up in Las Vegas. That was a pretty fun weekend, we decided to repeat the trip. We went three times total, and on one of the trips I met another person (ShortyRose) who came all the way from Germany. The day I met Kuriso in game, my character was wearing bunny ears, so on one of the trips to vegas I wore bunny ears to commemorate.


In June 2010, I took a trip to Texas to meet up with my closest friend from the RZL2 server, most well known as GM Vital. I was here for a week and a half, and during that trip I met Iron Maiden, whom you might remember as a Music Moderator. The three of us went to Speedzone one evening for some go-kart fun.


May 2011, I moved here to Texas and Vital has been my roommate for the past 3 years. I still see BaldDwarfMan on occasion, but I haven't seen the rest of them in quite some time.

One day I hope to make it across the pond and meet some of you, but the biggest factor in that besides money is time off. Living so far away from my family means most of my vacation time is spent going to visit them now. Oh that and I don't have a passport, so I guess I should start there.


You just never know who you are going to meet or where it is going to take you. :laugh:

My first meeting with someone fraom RaGZONE was Matynator, he flew over to meet me and work on Termina with me :) then... 3 weeks later, RaGEPARTY!!!!! got to knock, GohanSSJ, exclaimatio, El Marshal, Robert, Boko, EvilKitten, Negata and Junkers :) I'm defo going to RaGEPARTY next year... best experiance EVER!
