[Library] The Public Shockwave Library
The Lost Archives: Habbo's Golden Ages
As you may have seen in the recent Blunk thread, I mirrored Cecer1's archives. He didn't seem to mind so I decided to update his archive of all things old-school.
The archives now stretch into C# Holograph with a few v26 edits in there (Not too good lol) and some useful v1 DCRs, in addition to the unprotected ones. Why I'm posting this thread is that I need more contributions.
Shockwave Habbo might be dead to you, but that's all the more reason to store your projects and any other ancient materials on this site. For the education and historic purposes of the future, it'd be nice to have a record of our great achievements in that time.
If you find something useful that you would like to contribute, either post a link in this thread, or send it to me via PM.
This includes emulators, CMSs, DCRs, notes, tutorials, PDFs, sound files, etc.
NOTE: If you would like to establish a "private archive" for your works, that's fine. This will allow only a select few to access your items. This is to ensure that you don't want it to just spread randomly.
Emulator qualifications are:
Login works
Changing clothes work
Public/Private Rooms work
Chat works
Friends List + Console works
CMS qualifications are:
Exploit-free (or at least point out the exploits)
Bug-free upon extraction
At least have login + client working
PDFs/Notes will be submitted after a quick proofread. Soundfiles have to be something relevant to Habbo, like the rest of this stuff.
I'd encourage you to post everything from private developments to leaks. I know that'll piss some people off, but don't expect to get renames because all of the action happens in Flash anyways. As sad as it is, it's true.
Directory browsing has been enabled for simplicity.
Hope this will encourage some people to establish v26 hotels.

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Thanks for this :) This is a great idea of you! I might download it all and back it up, just in case, is that okay with you?

No I don't want any of these files available to anyone. That's why I put them all on a public server. Nobody can have them. Ever.
lolol but serious ofc you can.

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Also knowledge should be shared besides the software. Without any knowledge left, shockwave is doomed to die.
-
Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Sick release!
Finally a "download section" for Oldschool :-D
-
Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Thanks dude, this is really useful to me! :thumbup1:

Exactly.
Share your documentation, PDFs, Tutorials, anything you see as useful!

Even if it are a bunch of lines in a .txt file. Anything that can be considered usefull in the slightest should be added.

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
I just found some very valuable Holograph releases!
I'm restoring most of the ones I deem fit-for-use to their original credits, and making the startup less retarded-looking. I've formatted them like Phoenix.

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Amazing share! If you can someday find Ion (the v7 server) with the DCR's I would totes rep the crap out of you. I'm saddened that Ion was lost, especially since it was my only way of acquiring v7 dcr's. Thanks for archiving, I think we all should host mirrors of old files like these, maybe one day I'll setup another mirror somewhere. These are historical goodies, I'm surprised he had Deltar on there as well.

Sadly the source of Ion is lost from anywhere on the internet and I don't think you'll have much luck, but maybe somebody still has it :) It'd be cool if somebody does though

I'll try asking around for Ion. :P It's gotta be here somewhere. Can't just disappear like that.
Currently searching for: Holograph: vista4life's R26 Edit
I have his R25 edit. Is it the same thing? I'm guessing R25 is missing R26 features, possibly BattleBall.
Recently Added: iJay's Holograph Emulator Edit/"Habbx" R26

It could be only on somebody's HDD because I was searching for it a while ago and all download/SVN links were down :)
Also:
Hebbo's full package doesn't work. The server needs a trial so the server is unusable since it's expired.

Ah, that rather sucks. Still, maybe someone will be able to renew it.
-
Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
I had a lot of sources I deleted... I wish I hadn't now, cause it's always fun to reopen old servers. I had many unreleased works I should of backed up. Oh well...

No it isn't. I looked through the folders but there was no way I could get it to work. Also, there's no source and no way to get the source.

Then that sucks worse :///
Made some tremendous additions to the library today. A huge-ass thanks to @ThuGie for nearly completing the records of Habbo shockwave releases.
-
Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Got them of a old hdd of mine, so not sure what works what not, or how to solve it.
And perhaps one of the other server packs for v9 has a loader.
-
Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Thanks for the mention in the 'Thank You' file. I might try and hunt down some of my old stuff when I get a few hours to spare. My external hard drive is filled with stuff just not all in the same area, hard to hunt stuff down on it without sifting through the entire thing.

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
A long time ago I posted a thread here with the list of the most famous Oldschool sources by release order and development thread, it'd be nice if you add them to the Public Shockwave Library.
I'm on holidays right now but when i'll come back I want to help adding some servers, sources, DCR's and everything useful I can find for the Oldschool RELEASES.

A good idea would be ripping habbo pages since the very start.
Some URLs:

2006/07 Habbo: http://web.archive.org/web/200702020...p://habbo.com/
*I'm bad at ripping off, so...*

You should look at my http://forum.ragezone.com/f353/oldschool-dcrs-post-934619/ , there's a lot of dcr's there. A LOT. I maded backup of all of almost all of them, if the link provided by user is broken...
-
Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Most of the ones I uploaded on the oldschool dcr post got removed a few days after I had uploaded them. I don't think I have a backup of them.

I just noticed this... No emulators have this 100%, most don't even have it at 10%.

Why wouldn't it?

Sorry, should have pointed out I was talking about Console/Messenger, not the entire list.
I have never found a publicly released emulator that has a fully working console, most aren't even complete to have categories. I know a lot of old hotels used to have either regular clearing of the database 'friendships' or a button that would clear your friends list due to the bugs.

Oh okay, I never experiences any bug with it.

I guess it highly depends on your emulator, but I don't know any public emulator with working categories for shockwave. I have added it before into an emulator, the only reason I have not released it is because it's an incomplete emulator, I am in the process of finishing it where I will eventually release it.

Lavvo V35 (closed): https://mega.co.nz/#!YZkm3RQb!nrd4fm...3AiO3S35JiSYXE
I don't know if needs to be open source, but its good to have in a library.
Nillus Packet Scouter 2: https://mega.co.nz/#!RQVSXYgA!Ls3cMT...H2R5AYuuthwq9Q
You have the first one there, with that headaching beeps
Kultakala Release 0512: https://mega.co.nz/#!xNMWnSQD!4miD1a...TXi9cGYzTfZknw
Kultakala Release 0528: https://mega.co.nz/#!8BtSARwA!4b_81U...rfcCBvHmIoOtF4

I give some DCR's I have, even Kultakala not being habbo project, and not lumisota either, I think it is a good thing to put in the library.

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
Not that it would be usefull to many, but just deobfuscated Habbo Stopwatch V2.exe and Habbz Roller Packet Generator.exe, not gonna be usefull to many, but I'm bored.
Habbo Stopwatch V2 (there's an easter egg on it, for what I can see lol): https://mega.co.nz/#!oM8ikLaA!tRmVCA...xSYMjZwMgU1Gz0
Habbz Roller Packet Generator: https://mega.co.nz/#!VIMXkRST!FlCqaS...-64iS2WpzJl2w8
Don't know even if you should put them on the library, but hell, that's what people do when they're bored. Gonna rip all your archive files soon anyway :junglejane:

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
I've looked for RastaLulz RP Edit but I couldn't find it anywhere. I did find Awa's recode, it's the 1st revision (out of 2) as the 2nd revision and SVN were lost. Probably one of the best Holograph edits that was not leaked. (Sunnieday was a leak right?) Every holograph edit was bad, though.
Quote:
Recoded features:
- Catalogue (total recode with new database structure)
- Database Connection (Ion's code ported by me)
- Navigator (Much better coded)
- The hand (Thanks to Project Thor!)
- A big part of the packetprocessing
- Cry for help (CFH) (Much better!)
- The MOD-tool
New features:
- Auto-config (look at first picture)
- Lido diving
- Infobus poll
- Ignoring system
- Moodlight
- Lido queue

^ Link is like 4 years old, I would archive it as it's a miracle it hasn't been deleted yet.

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
R10.rar is an server, and it is on DCR folder

Yeah Sunnieday was a leak to my knowledge. Awa's recode was good.
I looked yesterday briefly through my external harddrive and I am very sure that I must've decided to delete a lot of things, I seem to be lacking a lot of emulators that I know I had. I shall keep looking though when I get the time.
I'm still considering the steps to take with my emulator, I was considering setting up the packet delegation last night but it's such a monstrous task that I ended up watching House and going to bed... I have a busy weekend again so I doubt I'll do much this week. Hoping I can convince the girlfriend to go to a party without me next weekend to free up my saturday evening to do some coding.
I'll try to keep people updated, not bothering with a development thread because I am unsure on what exactly I am going to release. I plan to release at least a partially built server that uses proper C# standards and hope others might contribute to it once released.
As I said I don't know my ultimate goals in the project other than for it to not be holograph... If anyone is interested in keeping in touch just add me on Skype - ryan.theitlesson

Awa's link is the only Holograph link I've clicked that has not yet been deleted :P. Mediafire use to be the best now its Mega. Rapidshare is the shittiest ever I agree, they delete things after 2 weeks don't they?

Re: [Library] The Public Shockwave Library
The link to the main library download isn't working. It'd be awesome if someone could get that back up or send me all the files. It'd be a shame if all of this data died after the efforts and actions of og users to preserve the shockwave days.
