Well I decided to do a little tutorial and updated based on the last as more stable and current files. The files for the description of this tutorial are based on Gunz 1.5 Repack By jur13n # 1 & # 2.

For starters you will be much better images for details of the steps to be followed.

Necessary requirements:

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2_x86_ENU.exe (32-bit systems) -
Computer with Intel or compatible 1GHz or faster processor (2 GHz or faster is recommended.)

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2_x64_ENU.exe (64-bit systems) -
1.4 GHz or faster processor
Requirements for SQL:

Minimum of 512 MB of RAM (2 GB or more is recommended.)
2.2 GB of available hard disk space
DataBase SQL - MediaFire -Simple File Sharing and Storage
DataBase .bak - DepositFiles - Servicio de almacenamiento en la nube

Begin

Installation:

- Install the SQL Server 2008 R2.

For a better description of the installation of SQL. Press the spoiler.

- Press "Next", the following 5 times, without configuring anything.

- In the step 5 (Database Engine Configuration); press to option "Mixed Mode (SQL Server authentication and Windows authentication" and make the password of the user "sa", and press "Next"

- Verify that the installation was correct; press the "Close" button.

- When installing SQL; does not create a shortcut. You must look in the target directory would be: Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 -> Right Click on SQL Server Management Studio -> Go to "Send to:" Desktop (create shortcut).

- Now we go to "C:" And we created a folder called "GunZServer" within the folder, open the "Gunz.rar" and created a folder called "Database" and extract to "GunZ_1.5_Databases__.bak_files_.rar"; Gunz1.5_Databases_SQL.rar.

- Open "Gunz.rar" and choose that customer want to use to create your server. In my case I will use the third folder (Gunz 1.5 Repack by Jur13n # 3 (Edited)) and uncompress "Client", "server" and "source" right there.

Create username and password:

Note: No need to make this change (if only the gunz will have running on your PC); since it already was initially set at installation. If you want to change the password again and create a new user; follow these steps.

- We turn to open "SQL Server Management Studio"

- To change the login name (sa) and to create a key, you go to "Security" -> "Logins" -> "sa" -> Right click -> Properties.

- There change the key, if you want to rename 'sa' on the other, right-click on "sa" and give it "Rename"

Create Database and Edit:

- Let's "Databases" -> Right click -> "New Database"

- For "Name of the database," write "GunzDB" and give "OK"

- Now we will "Backup", we "Databases" -> "GunzDB" -> "Tasks" -> "Restore" -> "Databases ..."

- A new window will open, looking for where it says "From device" -> "Add" -> and search for the database that extracts it by default in "C:GunzServerDatabase" and press the filename "GunzDB15.bak".

- Press "restore" and go to "Options"

- Now we go to "Options" and press on "Overwrite the existing database (WITH REPLACE)"

Setting up the database

- We started to Data Sources (ODBC), by default this in "Control Panel" -> "Administrative Tools"

- When it opens, really an option that says "Add", in doing so will open a new window that says "Create New Data Source", really a list ... Choose the last in the list with the name "SQL Server"

- See some options ... For "Name" type the name of the database (GunzDB), in "Description" write the name of your server in "Server" write your user "SQL" (USERSQLEXPRESS).

- Then click the option that says "With SQL Server authentication, using a login Id. and password entered by the user"

- Then visualize that says "login ID", type "sa" or the name you post. And then the password.

- Then set out a default database (GunzDB) -> Next -> Finish.

Note:

AID: Generated automatically at the end of account creation
UserID: Desired username used for logging in.
UGradeID: Refer to the grades below

- Now find in "Tables" search -> "dbo.ServerStatus" -> right click > edit top 200 Rows

- Now they must put everything exactly as it is in pictures.

Note: For each column edited, should press "Enter"

- Search "dbo.account" -> Right click -> Edit top 200 Rows

Note: When you save the editing "dbo.account" they created a number of "AID" to be remembered.

In my case was the number "4".

- Now find "dbo.login" -> right click -> edit top 200 rows.

Client Configuration:

- Now we turn to the "Server" folder -> "MatchServer" -> We seek a file called "server.ini". (For best viewing, I recommend that you open with 'Wordpad').

-Now open "MatchAgent" Folder -> Open AgentConfig.XML with Notepad or WordPad.

- Now head to the "Client" folder and cut the descompiler. Now you create a folder called "Descompiler" and paste it there. Now find the "system.mrs" file in the "Client" folder, copy it and paste it in the "Descompiler" folder; Double-click "MRSDescompiler Pro Final Version" and click "Decompile Selected Item (s)"

- Now has automatically created a folder called "System". Inside that folder is a file called "System.xml" give right click and open it with your preferred editor.

- They must change the "IP" or leave it as localhost (127.0.0.1)

Pretty sure this was already released waaaay before.
I haven't seen it in a long time but this guide looks very familiar.

@Chrisss : This tutorial is very poorly developed; I think is currently better explanation and pictures for a better description of the development. If I had seen that thread, but if you read carefully the answers really that many problems are presented.

Coming soon I'll make a guide for creating the website for "GunZ". A few years ago to create a guide on how to make a website for "gunz" based on the archives of "MPOG"; but because the images were uploaded to "Imageshack"; and no image is visible. Dont forget to add exceptions to your firewall for the MatchServer, MatchAgent and Locator. Otherwise the server may not show.

Hi guys, I downloaded the client, GunZ 1.5.rar - MEGA. But I am not able to put new maps, can anyone help me if this client's right to ask for? knowing which files are updated gunz?
I am not able to put maps into the server, I downloaded several and not their name appears there.
