i got error when i make ran server database bak file... im using windows7
i already delete all rangame1,ranshop,ranlog,and ranuser and make fresh database ...
i try to restore ep8 databse from crimz database and i connot restore it i got error
see the attachment below

Okay try this. Task > restore > add db > check the database below > options > overwrite > restore ok
You need to select the database first in able to go to option, try it if not work just post :)

No, now you will just need to install one. And its already have management tools.
Search for SQL Server 2008 r2 with tools :) then select your platform x86 or x64, cant give fast links now. Using only mobile

Yes you can restore db using 2005 up to 2k6 hmm. Try to change ur sql server gonna bit longer than you thought when you install it. But will solve your probs. If still now, then change your database to a new compatible db for your server then try again. Trial and error will help too :) goodluck

SQL Server 2008 r2
- select what platfom u using there, if you are 32bit then select SQLEXPRAWT_x86_ENU.exe, vice versa you will see that x86 for 32bit is 300mb+ only so its just a few seconds away to finish
anyways regarding your SQL 2005, uninstall it all. SQL 2005 and the management studio. because 2008 2 will install a new one so better uninstall it to avoid conflicts and installing again probs :)
installation might take a while.
