Remodel

(This is a 1.5.1 server v101 by the way if it matters)


So heres my problem. I wanted to reskin Tiger Form to this:

So I did the following:


I found the mobs folder. I took its ECM, its BON. its SKI. and its SMD file. (It had 3 copies of the same 4 files 3 times in a row so I took the first set, modelviewer showed them as all the same)




I copied these, and put them into the Tiger Form's folder


I deleted Tiger Form's ECM.

I renamed the mob's ECM to that of the Tiger Form's ECM.



I opened the ECM and fixed the file paths since I copied its .SKI and .SMD

I found the combineact files for the mob for Standing, and Running, copied them pasted them over (but I dont know if i did it correctly, I dont think it matters just for the model to load)

I repacked all this, went ingame and got this:

So my question is why is it only loading the GFX files from the ECM and not the model/texture? How could I fix this? What erroneous data could have happened? And any tips to make it work? Is it incompatible because Tiger Form is complex or different in some way? Work arounds? Pro tips?

Is this community like inactive or something?

I remember when Ragezone used to be the place to go. I really don't know who to turn to for this problem now.

It holds a place in my heart. And I still love to mess with it. Does anyone know why my model may be doing this? :*:

Already abandoned the project since I didn't think I would get any responses. I'll get back to where I was and give you that info give me a while
