[Request] Pinescript Function and Command Guide
Hi, this community looks pretty much like it got hit with a nuclear bomb. Don't see how its a development Forum with no "development" and everyone here who has succeeded talks to newer members like at one point in time, they weren't one. Guess when your mom is choking on air and you need someone to give CPR because you may not know it, and they respond, "go figure it out for yourself, its not hard." guess you'll know how they feel.
But anyway, off of my rant. I'd like to request a guide from a knowledgeable person who isn't too seated on his high horse. Basically how to use the Pinescript Functions and the Commands that can be used in a .ps file for Odin files and or 2008 files. Just like GM Commands and Client Commands were done, can someone do these?
Not everyone knows what they're used for and its impossible to "figure it out for yourself" with these because they must be used a certain way.
Examples would be nice too.
Idk, its something to help the community out, instead of letting it sink into the joke of a help forum section this is becoming.

Some people -cough- mods -cough- killed the forum. People stopped bothering to even post.
Sure, most of the posts were arguing and what not, but at least it kept shit alive.
Also, instead of requesting the functions, why not look in the files, find what you can find, and make a release instead? You complain about no development, yet you do nothing to contribute.
PS: That analogy is a bit unrealistic.

Theres nothing to find. I asked if someone would make a guide on the uses of each command and function.
You get the point.
There are different ways to contribute to something, don't just assume I'm not doing anything simply because I'm asking for a guide. I plan to learn this information and direct users to it. If making a movement to create something of worth, is not contributing to something, then idek what is.

@Bakey is right, just browse current .ps' and eventually you can work out what's happening. Just mess around.

No one knows them well enough to make a list of all of them and explain to you what each one does. I'll provide you with an updated Pinescript commands and functions list for the 2012 files and you'll have to find out yourself what each one does and how you can use it. Look in previous pinescripts that are already in the files and use those as examples, experiment and then take note of how to use it or what to do.
You don't realise someone will actually have to find out what they all do and then make examples and try to explain it and it doesn't take an hour or 2, it'll probably take days, so you're asking someone to give up days.

Most of those are self explanatory. And their usage in the pinescripts, you can figure out from their paramaters and context how to use them. C# functions should work as well i presume? I mean you see things like printf in there. You can probably make your own functions too. Those are really similar to the GM Commands. which have been documented pretty good. so i recommend looking at those.
who knows what kind of functions you can do. Might even be able to do some of the ones embedded in the files when you hex edit them or get debug logs on functions used and etc. e.g. ? mapload? or w/e
