You can grand rebirth your character when you reach 5 rebirths, rewards are;

• Once your character Grand Rebirth, it can no longer be cancelled.

Your anti-virus might detect our Main.exe and Mu.exe as virus, it was just a false positive because our client files were packed using PECompact, some anti-virus detected this as virus. We use Microsoft Security Essentials and it was fine.

RetroMU Special Commands

• /setkey 10_KEY_CHARACTERS - This command will set a master key to your account, once you successfully set your master key you can now be able to use /lock YOUR_MASTER_KEY to lock your account and /unlock YOUR_MASTER_KEY to remove the lock. Locked account will be blocked to do tasks such as delete character, trade item, sell item, move item, talk to npc, kill players and duel player. (NOTE: dropable items can still be dropped from character inventory)
• /checkchar name - This command will tell you if the character is a Game Master or not and will show you also the character's name in all capital letters, this will reveal the difference between i and I and other confusing characters that might be used in scamming.
• /marry name - Command used to initiate marriage between characters in opposite sex, find Apostle Devin in Devias 2 church and invoke this command while both of you are near to the priest. Parameter name is the name of character you want to marry.
• /divorce - Command to cancel your marriage, it can be use anytime.
• /tracemarry - Command used to warp to the location of your husband/wife, this command follows the regular move restrictions and also disabled in castle siege.
• /clearinv name - This command will delete all items in your main inventory (equipment items are not included) so use it with care because we will not compensate any items lost using this command. Parameter name is your character's name.

RetroMU Special Events

• Extra EXP - This is an automated daily event from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM where the normal EXP rates will increase (20x for lvls 1-400 and 15x for master level).
• PVP Last Stand - A PK event with a minimum of 5 players, whoever left standing will be the winner. Rewards in this event are random Jewes/Bundle of Jewels and 200 ePoints.
• Scramble Words - We will give you a subject and scramble the selected words concerning that subject, your job is to tell us the right word(s) by using the command /post. Reward in this event is Jewel of Soul and 5 Reward Points.
• Dungeon Race - A race event starting from Dungeon 1 to Dungeon 3 where many ice monsters along the way will attempt to slow you down. Reward in this event are random; Loch's Feather or Bundle of Jewels and 150 Reward Points.
• Bring Me - This is a seasonal event (September to December) where Santa appears in Devias town, you have to bring items he will require. Don't worry he will not get the items in your inventory. Reward in this event are Jewel of Soul, 1 million zen and 50 Reward Points
• Online Time Bonus - You can gain Reward Points by staying online, even you're AFK. Online time is not accumulated, if you get disconnected you will not be rewarded. Reward in this event is 3 Reward Points every 60 mins.

About Gens War
This is an event where the 2 families in Mu Continent, Duprian and Vanert, will fight in the battle map (Vulcanus) to be the owner of that map.

Gens War Event Details
Mission: Eliminate all the opposite family members to be the lord of Battle Map (Vulacanus).
Max Duration: 15 minutes.

How to join the event? Warp in Vulcanus when Gens War event commences.

Battle Map/Vulcanus Advatages? (Will be implemented once the event started)

• +2x experience will be added (requires a minimum of 100 Gens Contribution Points)
• +3% jewels drop rate
• 1/10000 drop probability of ancient items (LOT has 7/10000)
• +3 gens contribution points in each kill during the event

Mechanics / Rules / Restrictions

• You can't stay in Vulcanus safezone after the 5 minutes count down, doing so will eliminate you in the event.
• Dark lord's summon skill is disabled in Vulcanus during the event.
• Tracemarry command is disabled to target players in Vulcanus during the event.
• Winner will be declared immediately once all the family members has been eliminated.
• If after 15 minutes timeout both family still have members left, the family with more members alive will be declared as winner.
• If after 15 minutes timeout both family still have members left and the both families have equal count of alive members then the defending family will be considered as winner.
• If event started and no one joined the event, the current defending family will be considered as winner.
• There has no members limit for both families.
• If you warp out of Vulcanus during the event, you will be eliminated.
• You cant warp into Vulcanus when the event started.
• Once a family became the lord/owner of the battle map, the other family members wont be able to warp into that map.
• If the battle map is unoccupied/no current owner, no players can warp into that map.
• You can't use Talisman of Resurrection into Vulcanus during the event.
• You can't attack any monsters in Vulcanus during the event.
• You can attack players in Vulcanus after the 5 minutes countdown.

Event Schedule
Server 5 - PVP: Every Monday and Thursday at 8:00 PM (PHT).

Map System and Loren Market - We added Loren Market, Crywolf and Valley of Loren on our Warp Command Window for players convenience.

Loren Market - A separate server like Castle Siege server. When you warp at this map you will be automatically transferred to Loren Market server without logging off and on. This means that players in Server 1 will be meeting with players in Server 5 when they're in Loren Market.
Vulcanus - This map is mapped to Castle Siege server for our Gens War event, same as Loren Market you will be meeting with other players logged in server 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 when you're in Vulcanus.

There are no mobs in Arena Extension (we call this Arena 2), we will use this map for GM events and other special events only.

Special Restrictions For Lucky Items

• Loren Market - Lucky items can be stored in vault and sold in Personal Store for ePoints.
• Outside Loren Market - Lucky items can be stored in vault only.

Our host is located in OVH (Canada). Our server is opened, you can register and play the game for early access. Official grand opening will be announce soon once the final testing of our technical GMs is finished.

We posted there "early access", meaning you can play the game even if it is not yet officially launched as we are finishing the configuration. But, our server ran into BETA test 2 weeks ago (exclusive only for our team), then as we finished the important configuration of the server we open up early access. Currently, our technical GM is testing the Great Golden Dragon invasion, Selupan, Medusa, Erohim, Balgass and Kundun drops.

I didnt play yet... But i gotta tell your... Looking by the post, this is the best server configs i have ever seen in last years.
Sadly, i think you fail in open the server before advertising. I think you should set a openning day, like in 1, or 2 weeks from now, and you can let the server open for tests, but clear DBs before openning.
At openning you should get like 200, 300 online, and its good that everybody starts togheter. But if you let this open, without set a openning date, people will see 6 online, and wont play at all...

I thought it is way too hard... Exp is low, this is good, but spots is just worst than GMO i believe, and this makes the game too boring.
I played with 3 chars, until get lvl 80, it took me 2,5 hours.
And then, just there wasnt spots to go afk. Spots is really weak, at least until lt3.
I think with this u wont get many players, cause the ones who like this gameplay will play gmo. I think you should make some spots with 5 mobs, with 5-10s of respawn, and maybe add pots till 10hp and 20 mana, why? Like me, 90% of the public who still plays MU, works, studies all day, this way we play MU cause we can still work, do what we gotta do, and then let it uping, when we have time, we play a bit, and with no good spots, and no big pack of pots thats impossible. My case: I study all day long, and usually goes afk for 10~12h, this way its impossible to me keep playing.
Seems there isnt drop of medals and firecrackers, it should... I'm in LT3 for 30minutes+ and still no evil spirit or imp, angel... I'm a little noob, but it shouldn't drop here? ^^
These are my sugestions, the way it is i wont keep playing, but i dont ask for changes only for me, just giving my review. Good look with server, it seems pretty good. I hope u have sucess.

As we said on our news in the website, players can get early access as we are finishing the configurations. Our two GMs were working hard last night testing for last minute changes. Grand opening will be announce soon.

Worst review ever made, it is GMO mate.. There should not be any spots, I found TS in 10 minutes and got 80 in less than 2 hours and 200 in less than 12 hours.. Just learn to play! If I would be Admin I would make even xp somewhere around 5-6 and ML somewhere around 2-3!

OMG, if server is good, online will rise from 1 to 200, people will stay, but if its not it will drop from 200 to 1, so Admin your plate has been droped, I do not know how to trust you in Future.. And if you rly want to make Opening do not do it in September of 8, do it somewhere around 12-13, because it is weekend days and y will get more ppls if y want so!

P.S. Instead of doing events by GM and giving Free jewels you should fix bok configurations, becuase +4 drops jewels and bok+5 drops shit like Lost Map, DS invintation and so on! BTW Good Luck with server!

Muren vs Wiggle

Our GMs configured the hotspots already (4 - 6 mobs). However, higher maps spots were default as it is useless to put hotspots there, your character might be killed by a number of mobs spawning every 5 secs.

Those are special classes. You can buy those classes if you save your ePoints reward very rebirth.

- Oh I see, you are referring to the characters that were created during our testing day? No we don't delete them, they didn't even obtain any exc. nor rare items. And they played at 15x EXP before.
- Rebirth level is 400 normal level as always (ML doesn't count as level, it is Mastery).
- Your ML will still remain, only your normal level will be reset.
- Point of ML is for Master Skill Tree, and you cannot wear 3rd level wings if you are not ML.

I hope I make things clear here. See ya on the grand opening...

So people that will play late will be a disadvantage also? We don't find a reason why it is important to you that every character will be leveling together at start. Some players play the next days or weeks. So playing in GMO today is a disadvantage to you?

Rebirth:
We didn't mention edited items here. Our MuEngine server files has automated rewarding for grand rebirth.

Grand Rebirth System
Rewards will be automatically chosen from the list we configured. You cannot get the same reward on your next grand rebirth, reward is by class.

Example:
First grand rebirth: Excellent Dragon Set+13+Luck+28+HP+DD
Second grand rebirth: Storm Wing+13+Luck+28+Ignore

We created the rebirth system for our Muren realm as our Wiggle realm is not a rebirth based server. Nonsense creating two non rebirth servers, right?

We will not give any rate from our rare item drop rate list. But here's a clue;

Our GMs are not regular player in-game, their job is a Game Master and not a player. Don't worry about items as only the Admin has access to the /item command.

Regarding the items in the grand rebirth reward system, it was just an example. You don't like reward for grand rebirth, don't you?
Grand Rebirth requirement will be posted on the website. So don't think it's easy to achieve those rewards.

And than erase chars ( what i think its right to do. ) and no rewards to beta testers ( even you saying that beta would have some Epoints of reward, if I remember well. )

Our admin decided it and we just follow what was instructed to us. Our team has years of experience as Mu gamer since GMO, we configured our servers to what we see is best for MuOnline. That is why we are hosting two realms (non-rebirth and rebirth/reset), in this way, our players can choose on where of our servers to play.

We also saw that there are lots of new servers opening everyday and closes in few days and weeks, using cracked files, old anti-cheat free releases here. We host Mu Online server using premium, bug-less and updated servers files by MuEngine, anti-cheat by MuGuard and website by WebEngine. Not to mention our host, OVH which uses Supermicro Intel Xeon E5s servers.

There is no doubt that this server files are great dude... You get me wrong. I'm going to play. And i know that the server is great. :)

Rebirth system
When you rebirth at lvl400 you stats will remain and your level will be reset to lvl 1 but no bonus or free points after reset. You can gain levelup points on lvl2, 3, 4...until 400. That means the more rebirth you have the more points you will get. We will reward you 100 ePoints every rebirth and 10 ePoints every 60 mins. of online time. I hope I make things clear here.

@frostspell, yes exactly stats are accumulated. We are planning now for the grand rebirth to limit rebirth to 10 or 15 only then you can have grand rebirth and the reward would be ePoints instead of sets, weapons, etc... You can use ePoints to purchase Lucky Tickets and Chaos Cards where you can get rare items.

For rebirth, we are basing on GMO's Rebirth system (http://murebirth.webzen.com/communit.../rebirth-guide) please read that guide carefully.
