The community has been around for ages, back in 06 before DRGunZ was even released.
After LG, Daemonsring was the first GunZ private server publicly avaliable.

Great thread Gunblade!

I would like to add that in our previous release a few months ago, we have achieved this player count without advertising outside our network:

Some might find this meaningless, but for us it was a feat, a great accomplishment!

However, and sadly, our player count dropped to 0 due to some awful balancing decisions.

If we could get that stable count of 45~50 players back, we would already be more than happy, as this will probably be our final encore.

If we can get more, then so be it. If we do not succeed this time, then at least, we will withdraw with a sense of mission accomplished because we have all tried our best, against several adversities and setbacks.

Seeing you here brings back good memories... Back in 2007, when DR's previous host/owner started to DDoS LegacyGamers, and myself along with the rest of the staff resigned after giving him an ultimatum, to try to stop him. Only when he stopped, we returned to DR.

Thanks Lib, I'm trying to do good work lol. Not as good as what you or gunblade do, but I'm slowly getting better and better. Just finished a custom font system for DRGunZ a few days ago, you can choose between 10 different fonts.
