I added an item to my v.62 server, however I can not equip. Ja .wz put all files and put all the xml's I my server, I can not even use it? can someone help me? Please!

I was so sad when MapleStory v83 was released with 1004000+ id'd items too :(
The issue here is, v62 and v75 clients have an item cap. Hats cannot exceed 1004000 in which the Talking Witch Hat exceeds this.
You can see the item and such, but when you double-click it or drag it won't work. However, I had my own workaround which was lulz; it will work if you force-equip it through the database. You can make an npc force equip it and then dc your character so when you relog it equips. This can also be used if you have like v150+ weapons that won't work.
Oh, and while you asked this, some JMS/GMS future-job items when scrolled upon will actually dc you. I haven't fully checked out why yet, but my best guess is it's for a specific job or allows a special job. (e.g Dual blade and the "This can equip on a Dual Blade" which isn't in your v62 client)
