Separate website from vps

hi to all is there any detailed guide on how to make website separate from vps thnx!

What web are you using? basically on the config.php of your web, put the ip and sql data from your mu vps server.
On the vps server allow on their firewall(if have) the port 1433(sql connection) to the web server ip.
