Need Help! "Failed to initialize the game"

When i tried to open client, it is stuck at NCsoft screen and 1 error box appeared said "Failed to initialize the game"

I'm using 1 click 4.0 server http://forum.ragezone.com/f587/relea...-4-0-a-956044/
NA up-to-date client, Version=4.7.0.8
Run game by start_local bat file
patched the no ip fix for win 8 into bin32 folder
I'm using win 8.1

before patch was ok?was able to start game client without error?

because server will not let you inside even if you start game client with no ip :ott1:

wish to use 4.0 server => download 4.0 game client or downgrade your 4.7 to 4.0
or
if wish to use 4.7 client => search 4.6-4.7 server(to 4.6 will be able even to connect, not all will be working)

btw could you tell me how to downgrade 4.7 to 4.0?
downloading a new client is a nightmare to me:grr:

will be more easy to download 4.0 :wink:
to downgrade - same - will be need to download files ;) then apply patch to replace your 4.7 files with 4.0
and not sure that you will find 4.7 to 4.0 downgrade - but it's possible but will need from you same time that you will search and download 4.0 :wink:
p.s. better way of download is try to find torrent file of 4.0 or just find other version of server and download client for it.
even with slow connection if you will put torrent with client to download and will go to sleep => probably when wake up - will be already downloaded :wink:
