About us

Having been around since mid-2013, Days after Dead is now back online. We have learned from our previous experience how to keep a community satisfied, at a professional level. Our players' concerns are our very first priority before making any changes to the game. The community plays an extremely big role in Days after Dead. As a member of our community, you get to vote on what comes in-game; and suggestions are actually listened to.

We offer professional support at a very fast speed, giving you an answer within hours. Because our community is our very first priority, you can expect to be treated with respect. All of your data and stored information is inaccessible to anybody outside Days after Dead. We use SHA1 encryption for message authentication and ECDHE_RSA as the key exchange mechanism.

Our server is located in France, and is using a port allowing us to symmetrically download and upload at 1 gigabits per second. We have 6 gigabytes of available memory, and 4 processors all clocked at a speed of 3.50 Gigahertz.

How to play

Days after Dead introduces a serial key system. We are not doing this to reduce server stress, but purely to make sure we can keep our players satisfied. Suggestions can actually be taken care of, we can keep track of what is going on and we can provide proper, professional support.

When registrations are open, all you have to do is post an application thread on our forum. Registrations are sometimes temporarily closed to get to know our new members better and make sure we keep up to their expectations before allowing new members. During this time, there are still several ways to obtain a serial key.

To play, please visit our forum and register an account. Once registered all you have to do is visit our applications section, read the pinned topic; and create a new thread. You can download Days after Dead via several websites over at our forum thread which can be found here.

Features

Days after Dead has a quite unique view on certain aspects to the game. Paying to get a certain advantage over others is history in Days after Dead. When you purchase one of our packages or loose Gold Coins, you can buy yourself some nice cosmetics.

We have purposely not made masks, chemlights and other certain items spawn; so that these can be sold as cosmetics. For Gold Coins, you can also purchase character skins. And if you buy our Legendary package you can show off your shiny Legendary badge in-game and on our forum.

We have tweaked and fixes certain things, as well as added new things to the game. Our loot is very Alpha-like, and Colorado has no overgrowth. We have added a clan system, third person crosshairs, night time is reduced and many more additions our community wanted. Our marketplace, except for cosmetics, is completely in Game Dollars.

Optimization is perfect. Our second developer, Spectre, is currently fixing the loot. A patch will be brought out tonight (around midnight, +1 CET) with loot fixes. Loot will be like Alpha. Thanks for giving us a try!

Don't expect too much of it currently. If you don't find any Alpha-like loot; don't worry. Loot again after our next patch and everything will be fixed.

Hello. I feel the loot is still not correct i looted echos compund and found one gun and like 403 flashlights jk but not a hand gun no mossberg, i would like 2 find like 2 -3 handguns and maybe a AR or Shotgun (ps I did find a m16)
But smallville still shit i didnt find a single gun and found again a shit ton more flashlights IDK if you guys changed loot or not, but if you did its still not good (in my opinion) i would like to find like guns in market post church and police station..



Need to make Handguns Common as fuck( find the green items in market, postoffice, churches, and houses)
B92, jericho, (b93r bit more rare)
AR's(find these yellow items: in market, PD, at houses every once in a while, firestation and Post Office)

Yeah IK but the enmulators servers were doen for about 1.5 hours and i thought that that was the loot update :)

Nice Server so far but i just miss some small stuff like Scary Sounds and maybe upp Heals that Antibiotics heal 80 % same as Alpha

My Loot Run : Rocky -> Tunnel -> Loco Mountain Rest stop or What ever xD

Yes, I always take constructive criticism. Be as harsh as you want, I won't feel offended.

I will include both positive and negative points - personal opinion.

Positive:

1. Love that you are using a paralax effect;
2. Liking both the background and the image in the middle of the header - not sure if it meant to be a logo.

Negative:

1. The woman on the left of the content is overlapping with the text, needs a little move;
2. Text under the 'logo' is not easily readable; Same goes for the inactive menu links;
3. On the far left of the 'logo' there is a partly transparent object that might need removal.

As a tip:

It is good to include social links in the header as buttons and in the footer.
Also consider having a domain name instead of an IP.

1. I will fix this, it's rather easy. It's a minor mistake I made but I forgot about changing it.
2. I need to change the logo anyways, it contains the name of my old server (Day after Dead), it is now called Days after Dead.
3. I see what you mean, it looks like a beam going off your screen. Will see what I can do about this.

Thanks for your feedback! We aren't using any social media so I don't have anywhere to link the buttons to (they're already made, just not active). The domain name will be active soon, I am currently using a home-made system to host the server and website. I just need to set up the DNS servers.

It's very good emulator! We need more players guys please paly this even on server is 2-3 people because how we can get more people when you enjoy and go out because there is no people? Play even there is soo low people ,take loot to safe and people with time will play!

2. do some Videos and spam it on YT
3. Spam ur Skype Friends

1) Alpha graphics, alpha sounds ,and ambient sounds
2) Good amount of $ from zombies
3) Nice and good balanced loot

The server is really good.The problem is I get low fps in clearview not sure in other big cities my pc is really strong I can run iss in ULTRA, if u fix fps the game would be much better. I love alpha so I will continue playing and I hope to see + 20 players in the server soon.
And never give up , keep doing great updates and this server will grow up shortly :)

Maybe I'll make short montage video today, not sure huh. Sorry for my bad eng!

This is the best emulator on internet no lags PERFECT preformance nice staff and even good loot i've missed Warz Alpha so MUCH and finally i can play it i love this game! Best emulator. Keep up the good work Laenoar!

Keys are free and will always be; just make an application. There is just currently a time-out period in which we won't be handing out any keys with exceptions, after that keys will be given out like normal again :).

Thread has been cleaned up. Refrain yourselves from going off-topic. When you've got issues like this one, take them out of the forum, there are ways. This is an advertisement thread.
As for hacking, well testing for hacks is still actual hacking, that's why each team has developers, they test out before release, if someone is feeling like he wants to test some hacks, I am sure all developers would agree here, that they can provide that person with this opportunity making sure that the test is not having an impact on the whole community.

We have fixed all of the stuttering in-game. You can now play Days after Dead and actually properly kill all zombies and players.

My feedback from the game:

1 - REAL alpha feeling! (loot, animations, map, ambient sounds, etc etc)
2 - One of the best emulators I've played
3 - This image below is from an loot in about 1-2 hours running from Rocky Ford to Crystal Lake (I've looted Rocky Ford, Hill Ranch, Oak Montain, Camp Splinter, Echos, Smallville and Crystal Lake)

Conclusion : Real alpha feeling, the best alpha emulator ever, if you want to 're-feel' the WarZ Alpha, then download and play!

Really want to play this emulator, but Alpha Colorado optimization is horrible for my shitty PC.. :/

I too have shitty pc and fps 45+ i pvp area (clearview small) in campos 30+/-
