Service upload failed error
Hello RageZone!
I am extremely new to making fiesta private servers, so new in fact, that this is my first one. Anyways i've set up my databases and everything, the problem i'm having is when i try to run the AcccountLog and Login services they shoot me the "Service Upload Failed" error. All the other services started just fine, for some reason only these ones don't work and i've followed other suggestions and threads but haven't gotten anywhere. This is all i can get from the logs for the AccountLog service

Re: Service upload failed error
Nothing in there really solves my problem :/ but I did pick up that I forgot to mention I am using the Odin files.
Re: Service upload failed error
Re: Service upload failed error
I am running them as admin, and all the other ones work, it's just these two that give me the error
Re: Service upload failed error
Try doing your ODBC both 32bits and 64bits.
Re: Service upload failed error
It didn't seem to work :( i still get the same error
Re: Service upload failed error
Disable your firewall. If the services start properly then add rules to your firewall.
If you don't solve this issue, check that the configuration file where it refers to the name, description, user, password, and database to use is the same reported in the ODBC interface.
However what is your operating system? You're on a 32 or 64? If you're in the 64 always make sure to run the connector in the SysWow64 -> odbcad32, I believe this is the correct name of the application.
If you provide the above information i can help you better.
DB Names must match to the Startup Command "USE", because that command search for the db!

DSN Names, ODBC_Info must match do the data source (odbcad32 for 64 bit)

Re: Service upload failed error
I remade my server and I had a problem with AccountLog too. Go to your config (where you edited ip and sql password) and then go all the way down where you see AccountLog and there, edit the DSN from Statistics to StatisticsData. That solved it for me.
I'll make a screenshot later.

Re: Service upload failed error
You may already have the services uploaded, not bothered to read the thread. So the error logs may say otherwise.
Re: Service upload failed error
I was gone for 2 days, but i'll try both solutions and report back with my findings, thanks everyone for your help. Even if I can't get it to work i'll have good reference for next time :)

I'm running a x64 machine loaded up with Windows 7, I've checked all my names against the server info log and they all match up correctly, I've also tried setting Statistics to StatisticsData and still nothing :(
Re: Service upload failed error
Did u get an other error when you changed it from Statistics to StatisticsData?
Re: Service upload failed error
Here is some trouble shooting for you.
1. Check SQL permissions on the databases.
2. Check your ODBC check and recheck.
3. Check your config files.
4. Check the exe Txt's.
If all else fails PM me and when i have time i can help you. But I want you to try to fix it yourself before you message me.
Re: Service upload failed error
I have never done the permissions in sql and everything does work perfectly (I'm using a diff world/rest server)
Re: Service upload failed error
The rest server won't effect the other exe's. That is a Stu thing. The original intended setup was with MySQL, That is why there is no Account.exe. There is no need for it. As in a different WorldManager.exe, which 1 are you using?
EDIT: I would follow this guide to the letter.( http://forum.ragezone.com/f901/v1-2-...-guide-892067/ ) I wouldn't suggest trying to alter to much till you learn the files. Do some research about the SHN's and what you can and can't do things of the such.
