Hello.
I install a MSSQL 2008 in my new server but when trying to restore .bak files in SQL it said that it was incompatiblity issue.i check the MSSQL 2008 it only have 2000 to 2005 compatiblity ONLY..
i check SQL server in my other D.S i notice that it has Compatibility 100 (100 is for SQL SERVER 2008)
rf .bak files is has only compatibility 100..
i hope you can share .bak files for compatiblity 90... thank yoou..
try mssql 2008 r2, and i'm sure you won't get any problem
I try mssql 2008 r2 but nothing show also.. i try to reformat again the server and intall again the 2008 r2 but nothing exist compatiblity 100..
lol because ur still doing it wrong maybe try upgrading to a newer mssql version? i believe 2015 works ok
2008 and 2008 r2 are different...
every database files here would work for 2008 r2, except magenik server release.hahahaha
he used 2012 or 2014 if i'm not wrong @@
yes i know.. 1st i install mssql 2008 and nothing shows also.. then after an hour we decided to reformat or restore to dafault settng the D.S.. now after that.. we now install the mssql 2008 r2 but again.. nothing show also... and again we also try to install mssql 2008 r2 RMT but we also failed... now we try to install in my local computer and it was succeful installation and it show .. so i think there was a problem with the D.S.. we also try to send ticket to the company but they said that they are not relosving problem with third party... and now.. we decided to refund the server ..
i believe magenik's uses 2014 oooo lol man thats not good man if ur having install issues also look in windows update for any mssql updates
