[Help/Question] How do people usually make store icons?

Hey there,

I know I have been asking alot of questions lately, and I also want to thank everyone for helping me. Now, here's my question: I usually see some quite impressive custom items with their own store icons, and the icons match the "style" of the ones in the default I:SS. Is there some sort of "Icon Generator" or do I have to manually make it in photoshop?

Yeah, that's what I am currently doing, but then it will look so weird. How do I get a good pic of the weapon/item and make an icon for it?

Open the model in 3dsMax. Setup lighting and a blue / green background.
