How much do you pay for your cell service?
Out of curiosity I figured I'd ask what you guy/gals pay on average per month for your cell service?
Who is your current provider and price per month?
- If you'd like toss in your current features that'd be great!
I'd like to see the discrepancies between locations and prices :)
I pay $70/month w/
Unlimited Calling
Unlimited SMS/MMS
3GB Data LTE
Galaxy S6 Subsidy
Canada.
Let's compare!
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
Sprint / $65/mo + $35/mo device payment (after phone is paid off, this charge goes away)
* Unlimited calls / texts
* Unlimited 3G / 4G data (no bandwidth cap)
* Free yearly upgrades (portion of device payment carries over to the upgrade)
* Full insurance (I can smash my phone with a hammer and get a new device next day, no questions asked)
Only downside is the 4G coverage isn't perfect in my area. At home I use wifi anyway, and in town 4G works great. My total bill comes out to around $70/mo for everything above with my 30% discount. Sprint is by far the best provider IMO as long as you get good service in your area. Bad thing is that is limited as their coverage even for 4G isn't the best, both actual service and speed wise.
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
Three.
200 Minutes
1000 Texts
500MB Internet 3G
GBP 6.80
+ Unlimited Internet for 5 GBP.
This is just the sim tho, no phone included.
I'm happy with it :)
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
$0 a month!
I don't have service on my cellphone I just use the WiFi here to browse the internet. (So I guess actually around $50 a month for cable and WiFi) Better than nothing.
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
I keep it pretty simple with my BlackBerry Bold 9780.
£5 per month (around $7.86) on T-Mobile UK (now called EE)
Unlimited 3G internet / BlackBerry services
I almost never make any phone calls or send SMS, so I don't need any of that.
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
It's definitely cheaper in Europe, I figure it's because the amount of people being serviced is far greater.
Ron, do you have to pay a fee when you get a replacement - in the event you break your phone?

No fee at all. Flat $3.00/mo total for full insurance coverage. If something happens and the store has my current model in stock, I can get it replaced the same day.
I've only ever needed to use it once on the 4+ years I've been with sprint.
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
My cell service: nothing (because my provider cut my service due to not buying credit), so i just use my WiFi to do everything, for that i play $90 for 25GB data per month on a wireless device... now i know that is a little bad but it was worse before when i had 15GB of data per month for $100 on a different provider with the same type of device. this is also in Australia.
if there was some sort of free internet out there in the wide expanse (or something with unlimited data, fixed max speed of 500KB/s or 1MB/s with 100% uptime as a free package) that anyone could connect to anywhere in the world (like built into computers or something) then it would be great.
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
Just for reference to those who think its cheap in the UK. When buying lets say a iPhone on a contract it can go up to 50 GBP (which is like 70$ or something)
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
Vodafone NL
500 MB (4G)
150 minutes
Unlimited texts
15 EUR / month (about 17$).
Might change to a 2 GB / 300 minutes / unlimited texts for 24 EUR / month. Depends on my call and bandwidth usage this month as this is my first month on this plan.
Re: How much do you pay for your cell service?
Three (Three | 3G & 4G Mobile Phones from 3 Official Site)

Not to mention, sometimes you have to pay an upfront cost for the handset on your contract. For example you could get an iPhone contract for £30 per month but pay £100 for the phone itself.
