Did you make your own game engine, if so in which language, else what engine did you use, if I may ask?

Yes i'm planning to do this, but first i must focus on the gameplay itself.
so far i have:
-Shootable weapons
-Damage system, body shots, headshots ect body gives 50 damage on hit and head is 100 damage, with a sniper both head and body hit 100, legs and arms are 25 damage.
-2 Multiplayer matches to play on (Deathmatch, Team deathmatch) will make Conquest soon also.
-Multiplayer movement ect.
-A Menu to create a match, make a class, find a match and join it,
-Registration / login system.
-Battle Report screen to show your stats (Kills, Deaths, Headshots ect) at the end of each match.
-All required animations for a fps game.
-One map to play at (will be making more ofcourse)
-Reloading weapons
-Who Killed who messages
-Level up System
-Database system to store all player informations.
And so on...
There are still lots of things i must do been working on this project for 2 month's now so cant expect to much yet.
But i'm making alot of progress on the game.
On the website i'm going to create will be a place to show Rankings ect.
I personally think it looks okay based on the still shot given. Maybe a little gameplay would've be better.
How do you find time developing the game on your own?
Textures on the hand and weapon needs some work, not too fond of where the available ammunition is though. Perhaps get rid of the ammo counter all together?

however, the place of the ammo could be better (white on dirt is not very visible and having it standing diagonally is weird)
Where is the aim cross ?
But yea so far well done, makes me wanna try Unity again but blah, would need alot of time to spend on it.

Looks good, although it looks like the weapon sway is a little to fast compared to the running speed. :sleep:
Haha the gameplay looks nice but the weapon swing animation while the player runs is way to fast in my opinion. It looks like the player is putting a lot of energy while he is running but the movement is just to slow to fit with the animation. I think you should slow down the animation a little more. I also suggest that you put the kill messages on the left side of the screen since that's the most common place for each game.
Animations look rather clunky / far too fast, can't tell if it's your computer that's making the game jittery or it's the YouTube upload process that fucked it up. Either way, great job so far!
Well i'd rather use a diffrent recoding software in the future.

I have just finnished up the Battle Report screen this screen is showing the headshots, kills and deaths made in the battle and it's showing the total exp earned. and these stats are being added in the database.
And the level up system is working fine now, i had some issues before but i just fixed it.
Ive also made that the player's name is shown above their head, enemy names will display red and team names displays white.
Will be working on the Pistol animations soon and the weapon switching needs a fix.
Feel free to send me an alpha test invitation to break the game so you can fix it :)
The animation speed seems fine. I think the key to having a realistic running effect is to have the camera dip a bit with every sway. Watch how other FPS's simulate the effect.

Whats the game size currently? do u have mobile assets?
looks fine, but you should be aware. Some days ago i found out that the engine i was using doesn't exist anymore, so i can#t buy a license and have to use the free stuff ( gpl license), means i have to share my source code.
If you bought an unity-license it shouldn#t be a problem, else if the free-stuff uses GPL-license you should first buy a license before publishing it.

Cool! Then sell it to big companies and get paid.
Agreed, a big company has alot more funds for their games so they'll just end up either developing it themself or hire some other section to program it for them, giving them everything at the end.
However when you create something like this it's always good for you to put in your portfolio.. so you can get into those huge companies and then get paid :-)
Hi People, sorry i have been away for a while, i stopped with the project lately, but going to continue with it again, I think i will make it a free to play game and maybe have it in gunz style not sure though, I do everything on my own. But the problem is that i cant create maps i really suck at getting idea's or even create maps. I'm more into GUI Desigm, Animations, Coding and everything that comes to create games. But the problem i have is making gameplay maps. The map i showed in the image is simple and huge, but it's not something i'm planning to have within the game.
Try either looking at already existing FPS gameplay maps like CS:GO custom maps for example or try posting at the Team Recruitment section you might be able to get in touch with other people that do have the visual to create gameplay maps.

I'm sure i can beat their quality, the video's / images you see at the moment are outdated i started this project from scratch once again as the other project was just to learn. If someone else can make a fps game i can do that to. however this is not going to be just another fps game, i have plans to make this game unique and fun to play.
Sure it's going to take time for this to become something especially as i don't make 3d models i have to buy 3d models, and when i buy 3d models i'm looking for quality. so i dont look for CS like models. I only buy AAA 3d models. But as they are expensive i just need time.
Well, for the first time i wrote a giant text with missing stuff. Then i decided to remove it, because the stuff youshowed is still something everyone could do in half a day by using any actual engine like UDK or else.There is no information related to the physics, the used engineandso on and so on.
You said you got sofar "login-system" blah blah and so on. To be a bit more precise, i don't think you know what are you doing. And even if you didn't start it from scratch and only modded everything you would still overdo. "Buying models" and so on, lol. This looks like a kid wrote it. Well lets see how far you come lolz.

It's like i imagined, you don't like critism. Whatyou showed is not that much work. You didnt provide any informations about your server and database informations.You only write such a bullshit like "Database system to store all layer informations" lol great! A game which only stores informations. So you are writing the data but don't read it. Good job.
For a real gamedev the data you provided is more than a joke.

Edit: Yes, i know almost everything related to making a game.
I made my own UI, wrote some complete new libs for this ui, including panels, checkboxes and so on.
Complete new packetsystem. Rewrote the whole game engine i'm using from 1998 to 2008, DX8 to DX9. Created effects, made animations, worldmodels, charmodels, pvmodels, hhmodels,textures.
Made plugins for 3dsmax2012. Wrote new Worldcreation-"app" Whole encryption system for:
Modelfiles, Worldfiles, Textures, scripts, 118 weapons currently, made it reading CA Skels and so on.
Wrote Bump-mapping for Char and Weaponmodels, CSAA and so on. Don't want to continue.
Currently working on adding Gear including informations like speedincreasement, protection and so on.
yooo, I would so love to help you develop this game. If I had my PC I would be down to help code, graphics wise im poo at that stuff. :P

Zenshin112: Oh you took the Sudden Attack client and updated it with Combat Arms graphics, ugly made UI and moved buttons around. Congratulations.
On-topic: I like what you have done so far Elite! I would love to play it once more complete and graphics have improved :) Hope you have ideas for replacing the music with actual game sounds like footsteps, jump sound and so on, cause music like that when playing is just going to destroy the experience.
