MuWolrdEditor + MuOnline Pentium Tools

Hello Ragezone comunnity,

I'm editing Lorencia Ring in my server, but I got problem with serv side.
The problem is that when I'm going on the lorencia ring field, my char is walking inside the floor and not above the ring.

What I did is:
I saved my work with worldeditor(0.3), after that Opened .att with pentium tools, saved the serv side in my server folder MapTerrains as it should be.
But nothing is changed.

btw It worked fine for me iwth other things, just problem with that object.

If I recall, the problem with that object is it was never meant to be walked on so it has no floor geometry, it's literally just a flat surface with a 3D texture floating above it.

So the problem is that you walk through the object and it looks like the feet are missing, yes? If so, that can't be fixed unless you actually make a custom object and do a lot of work, I've no experience in custom modelling either, sorry.

If you mean you can't walk on it even with a fixed .att file, you need it changed on both client and server .att files else it will not function correctly.

That object is lorencia ring, lol.
It meant to walk on.

My problem in the first place was that lorencia ring is disappear when I walking near the upper vault.
So I moved the ring a little bit, and now it is fixed!
But now I have to update the .att - serv side to fix it. and when I'm doing that I got the problem of walking inside the ring.
It wasn't like that before I moved it.

I'll need a screenshot to know what you're talking about. From memory, all the Lorencia ring is, is a 3d object of the Crywolf (I think?) fountain but with a low Z axis so it falls beneath the map with only the spikes sticking out. It's a custom thing people decided to do. The actual object was never intended to be walked on.

EDIT: You could try raising the terrain level beneath the ring, that could let it work as long as you raise it just enough to stay beneath the raised ring surface.

Yeah, that's because the object has no actual geometry. No in-game objects have geometry, the .att files handle whether you can collide with them or not. Without the .att you can walk through any in-game object, which is what's happening here. Your character is doing what she is meant to, which is walking on the floor, but the object is raised higher than the floor. Only way to make it seem like you're walking on it is to raise the floor beneath that object. That way it will still look like you're walking on the object.

I see, but I'm sure there is a easiest way, because I had this ring with the same height and it was fine. nvm.
Do you know maybe how can I add object using muworld editor? object that is exist in the map. just copy and place where I want.

some arenas work some dont, so try using from other clients folders.

Not just arena, all of the maps except Lorencia.
When I'm trying to open them with WorldEditor I'm getting "Not responding massage"

Can you answer to my question above please?
How can I add existed object, just to copy and to place the new object where I want.

Make sure to 'like' our posts rather than just saying 'thanks', it keeps a lot of us supporters going, :).

For adding copies of objects, first load the map and set your fog start to be 998, and the fog end to be 999. That way you can zoom out more. To copy an object in the game world just click it, hold Ctrl and click somewhere else in the map. It will paste a copy of the object there. Keep in mind you'll need to edit your .att files after you're done else players can walk through the objects you've placed.

I recommend exploring the program more. I'm a C9 section mod, but I spent quite a while experimenting with map editing in MU, so I thought I'd help out here anyway, ;).

click the object, the hold ctrl and right or left click anywhere and it should be copied
