Gameboy is classic and i love it ;)
Def. the PSP I have one...the only objection I would have with PSP being the best is that it is Extremely fragile and the durability would never compare to that of most other Hand Held Console:bot:

Actually theres this console made by an obscure Korean company called GP2X http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Main_Page (check this site for some info). Its OS is Linux, which makes it pure awesomness! It even uses the ol' 2 AA batteries goodness

for me i chose psp,
here are the advantages of the DS, wi-fi with total online capability, AND built in microphone, touch screen is a nice bonus as well, did i mention too that it flips so both screens are protected, AND YOU CAN RUN LINUX ON IT (not portably though)
the new iriver g10 --- coming out this year, this thing is insane, media player on steroids, comes with a high def 800*500 screen or something like that (forget true resolution), its a video player, picture viewer, mp3 player, runs on flash memory, and all teh games are downloaded to the device which is believe are wi-fi aswell, the thing slides open to reveal the controls which resemble the SNES, did i mention it comes in 4 or 8gb capabilities?
sony psp --- almost dead to me cause of sony patching the homebrew but im running eLoader through GTA and so i get to homebrew all i want!!! WHAT NOW BITCHES!!!
i picked up the psp with everything and battle front 2 for 130, and street fighter/GTA for 60, AND i got a free 128meg card.
the psp is in perfect condition too.
i got a psp with 3 games, 3 demos, 128 meg card, SNES emulator, DOOM, PSP radio .37 and a shitload of roms for under 200 bucks.
this weekend im blowing another 60 bucks on socom and the headset, i cant wait. plus my mom is getting a router cause i bought her a nice windows mobile PDA.
ill just stick wiv my classic GBA
as rishwin said its the only Handheld which acually fits in ur pocket properly xD
DS because of all the games on it. Biz imo you're a ton of money. Just wait for the 4/8 gig pro duo stick come out, and download all the psp games. You'd be surprised about 80% of the games aren't even 500megs. I'd wait for psp-hacks to get a 2.0 hacked firmware so you could play GTA and some other games from your stick.
my guess the estimated price of an 8gig stick will be 250-300 bucks. you could probably hold about 12 games on there with music and videos. So 12 games at each $50 for most of them, is $642 with 7% tax (assuming where you is 7%). You know where to dl most of the games so that's not much of an excuse, or do you think my resources aren't worth it? Saving up and waiting would have been a better guess. If I had a psp I would have bought it, and left it in it's box for about 2-3 years until the stick came out.
DS ftw...I do like the PSP, but I like the DS way more :)

PSP as you can get emulaters for it to play DS games. PSP is the shiz
PSP is better because you can play music, movies and have emulators on it
but its more expensive than the nintendo DS
