Few years ago, I released these files and this tutorial on RaGEZONE.
And today I'm going to release the source for this game.
Mo Siang Online (Also known by Azuga Age of Chaos and some other names)
Quote:
Mo Siang Online is an MMORPG based on the warring states of ancient China. The game is mainly focused on Martial Arts and Kung Fu, allowing each character to choose 6 fighting styles.
Official server website : 《MS》Online‧Official Website
Developer : Eya Soft (Same company that made Luna Online)
The only alive official server for this game is the Malaysian/Singapore server (not sure whether the Thailand server is still alive, couldn't find their website anymore), and even so, the server is in a really bad state, full of hacks and there have been no event for years.
Source is compiled on Visual Studio 2003 (Originally created on Visual Studio 6.0).
ALMOST all projects will compile out of the box. Most important tools, server files, and clients will compile without error.
Original database backups and server base are included.
IMPORTANT!
Spoiler:
You need to include the [_SDK]Graphic items to your compiler include directory
Quote:
Open VS2003, Tools > Options > Projects > VC++ Directories > Include files,
add the [_SDK]Graphic\dx8sdk\include, [_SDK]Graphic\dx9\include [_SDK]Graphic\OPENGL\include
Compile the Library files first for both Debug and Release configurations because some other projects will depends on them to be able to compile properly.
This is most probably the official code, but it's an old one, dated back on 2005. Only modifications I did was fixing the compiling errors and proper restructuring.
Credit : @DNC for providing the original source he found back then, this release is basically a cleanup and fixes for the source he released on my old release thread.
Not So Important Note :
Spoiler:
Although I managed to start the server using these files, I didn't use a compatible database for it so I could not really start it up.
I have another updated version of the source which I can start the server and client properly, but the source is full of 'band-aids' and there's still major problems with it. I might release those too later depending on the situation.
Disclaimer : DO NOT sell these files or use them for profits. These files release are intended ONLY for learning purpose. Supports will not be given, however, discussions are encouraged. For the usage of these files by any other person besides me, I hold no responsibility whatsoever.

Not trying to be d*ck but this was released back in 2012

So yes, it is from the source that was in my release thread back then, but.
- It have more complete libraries (The 4Dyuchis)
- ModelView tool
- YHLibrary that is compiled from the other sources are broken
- This will mostly compile without any errors
The reason I didn't just update on my old thread to release this is because, the old thread is focusing on the server files and client. Plus I'm planning to update this thread later with another version of the source after I can fix more stuffs on that other source.

Re: Mo Siang Online Full Source (2005)
thx for sharing, donno whether the model viewer or other tools could also work on N-age: another older game developed by the same company.

Re: Mo Siang Online Full Source (2005)
Took a quick look on N-age, only similarities on the client side are the usage of the .bin files.
Client and server structure are totally different so I doubt the tools for mo siang would work on that game.
the mapserver was coded poorly thus consuming tons of rams. However I've seen someone fixed the memory leaks on the mapserver and it only took him like 3-4 gb to open all the maps. Sadly I do not have that fixed version.
