looking for some feed back

I just whiped this up... it will eventually be the web site for a mud (yes a text based game :ranting: )
If you have ideas on how to make it better, and what to do use to fill the large space .. post away.

well, you should add some menus on both sides (forgot what they're called lol xD), important links on the left side, ads, sponsors, etc. on the right side, and in the middle, news or something :).

PS. You put Conact on one of the links on top instead of Contact ;)

ok, thanks I would have not noticed the miss-spelling... I do not plan on having any sponors or adds though ... the site is hosted for free (add free too ) and the mud will be as well .. I get what you are saying though, I can whip something up

try using smaller and better text, header looks bad and the menu thing is to chunky... ill chek if i go a pic of one of my website layouts to show u a clean one. (currently at school)

EDIT#2: here it is, try and see if u get some idea on how a plain site looks, i like ur style just colour matching isnt very good, and sizes on things also

dexter, maybe not exactly sponsors or ads on the right navigation or w/e :P, maybe links like RaGEZONE lol, advertise us :P

a frame or two definitely wouldn't hurt, as maybe a table hiding somewhere in there :)

Use a different font for the menu part.
The banner looks good.
Maybe a background or something would be nice too.

Anyways, those menus are called Navigations :D I suggest them but not 2 vertical, one horizontal for the ads, sponsers etc and one vertical for other things, don't know exactly what you want to put there.

The text on the buttons is unreadable, I suggest you use 04b_011 size=8 (IMPORTANT) and use only capitals (IMPORTANT)

correct me if i'm wrong, but it looks like you've taken those metal 'spikes' from clantemplates forum downloads. And just added like 500000000 of them. If the page is grayish, the logo should be something like that, something darker. and the font on the website. pfew..

On you'r new image theres a big.. "wtf" in the middle wich makes it much more difficult to see the text if the site will be out on the net.

If you spent time doing a "techy" website wich this is, your navigation should be far more 'advance' then just text and a white\black pixel line..

My suggestion; Make the navigation in flash, with white pixel font or something like that.

nope I have not taken anything from clan template, I used a psd that can with a tutorial I used when making the site, well one of the many I used.
I do not want to do flash as I am on a free host it takes forever to preload/load, and since the site is for a text based game I am going to asume not every one may have flash, so I am going to make a flash site later. What big white bukakke on the top, heck what is a bukakke ?

And I have not yet redone the banner, so yes the text is incorect for it

instead of doing what forcy said try to make it something new by mixing up where some stuff. when pages are different it makes people look at the more.

I am not a fan of those horizontal navigation bar, but it looks alright
that "medieval" text in my opinion it doesn't fit well in that "futuristic" look, but i might be wrong, school pc's are a sh*t and i can't see it very well lol
