Phoenix emulator, portforward won't work but it works on localhost?

Hey guys, so i'm currently testing out a few things on phoenix 3.7.1 and the emulator and client works fine when I do it on localhost, however when I try to use my ip the client just stays at the hotel_view without showing any errors or any connection on the emulator console. I have portforwarded correctly as I can access the site with my own ip. Any ideas what I could have done wrong here?
