rly server. but how to correct launch this...

Well first of all you need to have an SQL Server running and with the database for this server and that leaves us with some problems:
1º We don't know what sql Version we're supposed to use.
2º We don't Know the name that we need to give to that Database in order to connect.
3º We don´t know if we need to change credentials in that SQL Server. I saw some things about user and password in the files.
4º We don´t know how to Start it correctly because the folders have Services and not "stand-alone" exe's

1. sql version is not that problem you can use newer in that case
2. you may look how sp files called the database I will check it too
3. by my guess all the server files using services true they used some specific credentials but that will be easy to pass I guess , I just have to wait the client to be download,
I will post everything and guide in MMO EXTRA TUTORAIL as soon I will understand how the server reading the database ;)

I'm checking this out atm. Great release, I've only just begun but the *Service.dll files inside zh-tw-x-gm\Bin can all be decompiled, so that can lead to some interesting development for the server. Downloading the client atm, and will mirror it when its finished.

i dont see any configs files with db.

Yeah, I havn't come across any MSSQL configuration details as I've been perusing the dlls searching for calls home. Pretty much everything in this release is decompilable, which is honestly amazing and very unexpected lol.

Hmm, no DBs by those names in this release. Also guild info is located inside the heroes DB.

Edit: Got the Operation Tool working, Can't start servers yet. Working on that next. Client is still downloading ofcourse. http://i66.tinypic.com/2lswj6q.png

almost all game data is inside heroesContents.db3, is a SQLite DB3 File and you can open using navicat, there rates information, exp curvature etc etc etc

Okay all entire connection data file is here -> ServiceCore.dll.config

Small update, got the servers beginning to start. Though all the ones that are booting in the pic have been "booting" for a little while so there may be some issue.

Alright, another update. Got all the services running fine :) When the client is done downloading I will try to get ingame and post progress here. I'll work on making a quick little guide cause it was actually pretty simple and easy to get this running.

2. Run RCClientService.exe with the -install argument (Make sure it has admin rights)
3. Change all instances of LS--20150330AXH From RCSConfig to your computer name.

With admin right he crash after start. I dont know how cmb run server... But he giude dont work.

What did you do? I was using the bat posted earlier in the thread and it would load the client fine, but xigncode would complain to me lol

Ok thanks. That is what I figured and tried that too, but the 47611 exe worried me as it is not only packed but I saw it attempting to make a TCP connection to some outside server in tcpview so I was reluctant to run it again until I took the time to unpack it and check it out in IDA. I may just spin up a VM or something and attempt it there.

Yeah, Im stuck with the client atm too. I've been busy today so I havn't had a lot of time to devote to it yet, but am gonna be able to do some work in a bit. Wish me luck :)

that's why, like i said follow @cmb guide or right click on both RCServerService.exe and RCClientService.exe and tick RUN AS ADMIN then make a .bat file for each like this:

START RCServerService.exe -install
START RCClientService.exe -install

run the .bat file you made, then go to your services and find both above and start them.

The one we are supposed to be redirecting I believe is the data passing through the 47611 port. Issue is, none of the servers are listening on that port so I could be looking at tcpview wrong or we are missing some bit of information.

Okay some progress, normal connect, but need login meny...

What program is that? @papka and how did you get it to connect?

Also i don't know if there will be a way to connect since login details are passed directly to the launcher through a token.

@Neliel Tu I am running windows 10 and its working fine for me.

okay, bad news, we have server and client, but dont have api for connect to the server. U login in launcher or web-api and start game, launcher or web-api send server info about u acc.

Need good revers to make this work. Or api, web-api, source offical launcer.

The Web api thing,
Some Vindictus Clients don't use it at all, in the NA Client from 1 year ago the users needed to place the acc info in the client itself,
so... Assuming these are outdated files from 1 year ago(since in the files and DB i only see things about season 2 and not season 3) we should be able to connect the client without the Web Api(Assuming we have the right Client for that).
And Vindictus EU didn't use the API until recently, we can assume that the transition to web api it's fairly simple to accomplish.
BUT these are all Guesse's and not by any means correct Information.
So if anyone of you have more information on the subject feel free to correct me.

I tried using the -stage command line switch and it does nothing. That is how they were doing it after they changed it to NGM, but the thing is im pretty sure this version always used Garena for 3rd party authentication.
