Required PHP Modules, Extensions & Settings:

Installation:
- Make a full backup of your MuOnline database.
- Download the WebEngine release package and extract it.
- Run all the SQL queries provided in the release.
- Upload all the CMS files to your host.
- Make sure the following directories and files have write permission (chmod):
- /includes/cache/*
- /includes/cache/news/*
- /includes/config/*
- /includes/config/modules/*
- Configure WebEngine's configs (/includes/config.php)
- encryption_hash must be 16 characters long to prevent PHP errors.
- Setup WebEngine's cron to run every 5 minutes (/cron/cron.php)
- Login to your admin account and configure WebEngine's modules through the admincp.
- Create a new cronjob using the admincp for /cron/server_info.php (this is for the sidebar stats)
Upgrade instructions (from 1.0.7 PL1): **IMPORTANT**
This release is a COMPLETE rewrite of WebEngine, therefor it is not possible to upgrade your current website with all (if any) customizations you made to it.
- Make a full backup of your database(s)
- Make a full backup of your current WebEngine website
- Download WebEngine 1.0.8 from the clients area.
- Remove your current WebEngine website completely
- Execute the SQL script: WEBENGINE_CREDITS_CONFIG
- Execute the SQL script: WEBENGINE_CREDITS_LOGS
- [OPTIONAL] Delete your current WEBENGINE_CRON table and run the new SQL script (newest crons will be added in case you never added them)
- Re-install WebEngine 1.0.8 (yes! as if it was a new website)
- Re-configure the config file
- Re-configure the tables definitions (now located in /includes/tables.php)
- Login and configure the website through the admin panel
- Go to news manager and update the news cache

Man, please configure the files correctly.... Now your web try to use PDO connection.... Use MSSQL connection, or enable PHP_PDO extension etc...

No, you only need what you want to use, if you want to use PDO sql connection you need the sql driver, for odbc odbc driver..:D
Use ODBC if you are running the web on the same machine like sql server, use PDO sql if you are running on different machine the sql.

Web host running apache / nginx too... so i dont understand totally your question.
You can run it on webhost, for example https://lghost.co.uk/ or you can run it on IIS under windows, or apache / nginx under linux.

He maid some changes but now i got this error: PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000] Unable to connect: Adaptive Server is unavailable or does not exist (severity 9)

Enable TCP / IP on your SQL server than your port will be allowed, anyways Its not good to open directly the port for the internet, its totally not secure. Allow only the webserver IP on 1433 port.

Thanks for your suport, look, my site is "on" now but i cannot register a account and when i tried to enter with a account created with mueditor.exe it dont work, my webhost is linux and my vps with my server/database are windows server 2003, i have to use 1, 2 or 3?

Its CMS u can add modules easy. But first u need understend how this cms work. Need minimum knowledge on PHP to make customs modules.

Wtf...? You just need to replace the template images and make new css for it.... the main design of the system is in the default/index.php you just need to change the div positions etc to make new design.
If you cannot do it you are lame not the engine or the system lol. I have my own design on it and I have theme switch too because so easy to code on this engine.
You can change the tables into divs, but why is it problem for you?! Whats the problem with the tables? Its contain just basic things.... The design is build for DIVs not for the tables, you can simple replace the tables with divs too than code your css into the site css....

You cannot check in the php files, how the system working, and you cannot check in the database what need to read to make it work totally..
Make a credit table where you store the user credits, you insert into / update them when player donate the server and buy credits.
Than find the code part for this system and handle it

You run the querys in the ssms and under IIS you need to add the htaccess file into it, under apache its simple running. Ofc need to edit the config file too to setup the basic things, like url, database connection type etc..

hi guys, i'm having an issue with this website: every module, including home, gives me the message "Module has been disabled by Administrator", i can't see the Rankings and when i try to login it says " You have reached the maximum number of login failures, therefore your account has been temporarily disabled to login to the website."
I really don't know what to do, i already installed every plugin, ran the crons, executed the querys, modified config.php and nothing... I run the website with error_reporting and it doesn't tell any error, it's like everything is OK but website doesn't work. I'm using IA Julia server files, could it be some kind of problem with it's db?

Turn off bloking in config file than login and allow the modules from the admincp or you can allow it with hand in the config files.

Define an ingame account as admin in config.php, login in the website and go to admincp

Thanks for the files, its fast unlike other mu web, easy to config, i tested this files with PerfectZone S4 and its great, btw is there any other compatible template that i can try?

uhm, is it only paying with paypal account (the one with register paypal email) you can received credits automatically? I tried setting the paypal module but it is connected with my paypal account, so i paid using it, it won't accept. So tried debit/credit instead, it does not add credits automatically to the account i used, but i received the payment in my paypal account, for manual credit addition though. Can someone share their experiences, thanks..
