Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
My great overl0rd aureweb looks great but what is this PHP thing? Maybe you should remove your personal school email (or w.e. that is) from screenshots you post here?
-
Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Where are the credits for @Dominic @rockster34 and @Flicker ?

Why you want to cite Dominic?
Their credits are on GitHub. Give a look. And actually their contribution was really small. Rockster created a Tutorial File and uploaded some Images, CSS's of outdated builds and Flicker edited in photoshop the Habbo logos to become Azure logos. All that in old contributions.
The entire php thing was me. xD But okay adding credits for they here.

Observation for @maritnmine: my e-mails are available on my profile page and on my portfolio. But anyways, blurred the image.

Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
I like the cms but the register process is totally buggy, u can't register because captcha or something related to it.
And how do u access hk?
-
Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
@saamus why don't you make this with Laravel?

It's really a good idea. But i will need spend a really big time rewriting the core of AzureWEB. And testing all core features again xD
But yes, it's a really good idea.

The Registration isn't buggy. You need put your Recaptcha Key.
I will add a tutorial on the main post.
- - - Updated - - -
Added Tutorial for HK & Register on the top.

Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Glad to see that you have made the same CMS as Habbo. But Habbo is busy with a new CMS, so if I was you don't waste your time on this anymore.
However, thanks for this release.
-
Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Cool. You added your own ads.
-
Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Meh. I'm a bit tired of the PHP CMS' released here. I like PHP, don't get me wrong, but still. And the layout... it's not my favourite. Why didn't you use MVC, even better, why didn't you use Laravel? Laravel is a great framework and I really recommend it. Still, I would love to see a Python CMS (@Moogly make it happen!) or something else. But you went with PHP, and it looks great, but the layout makes me wanna puke. Still, a decent CMS.

Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Why are people even recommending Laravel for this..
This uses Angular which would mean the PHP (should) only be API-Side. That being said, Laravel's baby sister Lumen would be a lot better suited for this. It provides what's needed for API's as well as being much faster and responsive to things, without calling an entire not-needed stack.
That being said
This release is pretty good, but it's a shame you didn't bother cleaning up a lot of how Habbo dirtily coded the site and went with it, however, nice regardless. Surprised some features (especially things like pic ratings) weren't done given how basic they were.
Good job chocolate guy

Yes i agree that Lumen with be ideal for this case. Good point. And you're right, the entire php core of AzureWEB it's basically API.
- - - Updated - - -
The thing about Pic ratings, and those other basic stuff. It's really something that i need code in the future. But the thing is that each emulator implements camera in a different way. AzureWEB uses custom tables that only Yupi and AzureEmulator 1.9/2.0 does the same.
That's bad.
--
Yes also the php core of AzureWEB is a big sh*t. Need rewrite urgently.
-
Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
@LeChris @Glaceon
I started the version with Laravel Lumen (being write from scratch)
Check out here.: https://github.com/sant0ro/azureWEB/
Actually Articles System done.

But Lumen is exactly what i need.
Laravel it's so much heavy for what i need.
AzureWEB will only serve Responses for the API Requests of Angular.
Not really complex things.
The max HTML stuff that you will see are the Articles and HabboWEBPages.
All Rest are HTML.
But thanks for the suggestion.

Hahah really important update!!
xD
Chris does you have a suggestion for the Articles View? I think the code it's little heavy. But was the simplest way I found for this.
It's better put a template engine?

Personally, the way you're doing things is wrong. Example being how you're returning views for somethings. I believe when using Angular - the overall goal is to have one view being handled by the backend, while the rest is being handled by the client and the API is sending JSON data.

That's a wrong premisse.
If you analyze HabboWEB most of API Request are jSON. But some requests sadly are in HTML. Like Articles.
You will think, why the hell HabboWEB doesn't uses jSON as Articles? Really would be better. But i can't do any change since the premisse of AzureWEB it's being exactly equal HabboWEB.
But their business logic in Articles it's such a little complicated.

Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Hi people! Should i create a Development thread for AzureWEB in Lumen?
I'm commiting a lot.
Actually got this.:
1. Sessions (i created my own Session Service Provider & my own Session Facade)
2. A lot of pages already done (Playing-Habbo 100%, Home 100%, Shop 0%, Community 30%)
3. Auth System 90% Done (I don't know what i can improve)
4. Article System Done
5. Some Tables on Database are done.
Now need to code:
1. Complete User System
2. Caching System
3. Migration System (Database)
4. Community (Rooms, Report, Etc)
5. User Profile
6. User Settings
7. Client
8. Mailing System
9. Shop (i really don't know if i will do this.)
You can see the progresses by going on GitHub - sant0ro/azureWEB: The opensource HabboWEB Engine & CMS

I think above all, you should change your ideals behind this project to support Habbo features - while not coding the API to support the client-side code of Habbo.
That being said, I'm talking about re-doing this using your own Angular mock-up so that you have an easier time with features and can avoid the clutter

It's a good idea.
But i really don't have time for this Chris.
And the idea behind AzureWEB it's being easy upgrade to latest HabboWEB version..
I'm just learning how Laravel is, never coded in Laravel before.
It's being intensive. But i'm learning those things hahah.
- - - Updated - - -
Okay, i just finished the usage of Blade Template Engine. So much better now, woah.
-
Re: [New] AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
So, I changed the recaptcha key and this is what I'm getting when I try to register:
http://i.imgur.com/epoeaWb.pngThen in the db i get this:
http://image.prntscr.com/image/e1125...c00f70a37f.png
Then, if I hit F5 I get logged with "<_thisisatest=#" as username, lol.

I'm thinking on.:
> Disable HabboSHOP Section since it's totally useless for Habbo Retros.
People what you think about the HabboSHOP section? Yours think that is useless or can be useful? @maritnmine @CodeDragon @The General
-
Re: AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
The Habbo Shop section is relevant to hotels with an actual budget, and using the purchases to provide payments on the server. It's useful, however, only in the instance that it's used to purchase premium account upgrades versus just buying the "credits x 100", or whatever else they host.
Interesting updates, I'll have to go through your code as I'm now doing a similar project however using Angular 1.6.1 on my own source ;p

Re: AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
This getting better and better. I love you work fast on this, and actually on your own!
Keep going dude. You should make this compatible with Arcturus, because there is non out there for that emulator. ( idk if there is, cuz haven't followed the release section for months ).
-
Re: AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Dunno what you mean with predefined rooms?

Those three rooms that you can choose on the Register. (on the Client, the NUX Rooms).
I really want to code this, but i need have the room_model for this (Arcturus) and the items values for those rooms.
I think that with PacketLogger will be easy to do it.
I personally didn't successfully got Arcturus working.
But i want this CMS to be Arcturus Exclusive.. If you can give me a little help i will be really glad.

It's only for Arcturus.

@CodeDragon or @Droppy can change the thread title to "AzureWEB - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]"
- - - Updated - - -
Updated main thread.
-
Re: AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Why would you keep the branding AzureWeb if this is Arcturus-Exclusive ?
-
Re: AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
Starts with a CMS exclusive for Azure Emulator only.
Recodes everything for plus Emulator only
Recodes again for arcturus only.
DAFUQ is wrong with you ? Make it for all emus and everyone is happy.
-
Re: AzureWEB - the habbo clone CMS [Plus Compatible]
@Cankiee you're wrong. I never recoded everything for Plus Emulator.
I'm only recoding it for Arcturus. And Azure is a crap.
Why azureWEB? I didn't have this CMS name azureWEB because Azure Emulator. Lol
I created because azure remembers cloud.
Anyways...

Just slap another name on top if it. It's easy to confuse them if they have a similar name. If you don't want it to be related to the emulator then use an original name.
-
Re: AzureWEB - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
I think Chocolate CMS would be great for this..
-
Re: AzureWEB - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
@Cankiee in the future i will do this compatible. But people are using more Arcturus each and each day. Because the stability, performance and the community contributions.
@LeChris, i loved the name! I will use it.
Someone can draw a logo for me? for ChocolateyCMS :D or ChocolateyWEB

It is possible creating an Arcturus Plugin that when you take a Photo it's automatically register on the table?
Also @Sir Jamal does you still have the NUX rooms?
If i got successful deploy of Arcturus i will decorate three rooms and export they models and furnitures.
Today i will first optimize the CMS.

it depends on the data you want to get. But I know for sure that the photo data (roomid, userid, timestamp) is saved in the items table in the extradata field, JSON format.
-
Re: AzureWEB - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
I was actually going to add publishing to web. But you can also search in the items table for the pictures. All camera data is stored in JSON format so shouldn't be to difficult to parse it to an object or something.
Could you post the current table structure for the pictures?
-

something like that. I'm still researching it.

Housekeeping not necessary need be built-in on the CMS. Can be external, also in other host, other port, other language. That doesn't matter. Only need be compatible tables.

Re: Chocolatey - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
I noticed that you have some manualy 401 responses in your routes/web.php file. The response code is wrong. 401 Means that you are not authenticated. 403, forbidden is the error code you are looking for.
Why does your authenticate middleware have a hard coded link in the middleware? You just don't need to add the middleware to the route. I suggest you do some research on middlewares because you are already using them in a wrong way. You're better off by adding the middleware in the routes file then in the controllers' constructors. In Laravel you can cache routes so it's best practice to do it in the routes file. You can group routes together if you want to apply the same middleware to it.
Edit: You don't even need the authentication middleware since it's build-in into Lummen.
https://lumen.laravel.com/docs/5.2/authentication
-
Re: Chocolatey - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
Sadly I think you're wrong but thanks for the help.
I manually checked all the route with Habbo.com answers. And some gives 401 even when logged in. But I will investigate a little more.
I needed do the hard code on the middleware because Lumen doesn't have anymore Sessions built in. But yes calling that Controller on AuthProvider was only a test.
Also Lumen was made for Token authentication I needed to make some changes.
I will follow your tips.
I'm using middleware in the correct way I think. Using the Auth middleware to return 401 for Routes that need be authenticated and when you're not return 401.
I know I'm not using advanced routing groups yet. But @CodeDragon I'm entirely new in Laravel. Using the like less than 1 week.
Really thanks for making those questions.
- - - Updated - - -
Observarion.: You opened the 5.2 docs. After 5.2 a lot of changes happened.

Also I think this is a Before Middleware (Auth)

Then Habbo is doing it wrong. 401 is meant for not being authenticated and 403 is meant for being denying access if the permissions are wrong. I'm talking about your web.php with the shop url.
Also I've been using Laravel for almost 2 years and I'm sure what I'm talking about. Also double check your migrations. You're doing the following which has a build-in function for it:
Code:
$table->timestamp('createdAt')->default(DB::raw('CURRENT_TIMESTAMP'));
$table->timestamp('updatedAt')->default(DB::raw('CURRENT_TIMESTAMP'));
You can use the build-in function instead:
Code:
$table->timestamps();
Another thing is that you do not need to use response()->json() to return data in JSON format. Returning it as an array would do the trick as well. It might not be in the documentation but it really works, you can also return the model to output it.
If you need it with a specific error code then just wrap a response function around it with as second parameter the error code.
Code:
return response(['level' => 99], 401);
-
Re: Chocolatey - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
Hi @CodeDragon yes you're right. I can use $timestamps, and just use Eloquence to map the created_at & updated_at to updatedAt * createdAt from habboWEB.
I updated through GitHub a lot of improvements now. Will publish those soon.

I will do it Tuesday afternoon, I am bussy at the moment.
Edit:
Please check some of your controllers, some still have the reponse()->json function returning the array does the same trick with the error code 200 (It also sets the content type to the correct one).

Use the password_hash() function :) or use app('hash')->make($value, $options); which is a wrapper around the core php password_* functions.
Looks nice! Good job @saamus

I'm using hash('sha256', $password...)
I'd used password_hash for AzureWEB. But personally i don't think we actually need this password hashing strength.
But anyways, thanks for the suggestions.

@saamus make sure for the CMS to set the ip_current field in the users table. Its to support proxies which has been fixed in 1.3.0 and onwards.

Okay, adding it. One question, does the field actually exists on users table on 1.2.0?

@The General i commited the fix on the Login and on the Register ;)

Re: Chocolatey - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
Yes. It has always been there however the emulator up and untill 1.2.0 used to update this field. Now the CMS has to do this.
This is to support IP banning when using a proxy.

Re: Chocolatey - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
Hello.
I hope you don't mind me sharing some ideas for the SHOP. Most Retro's have some kind of paid VIP-rank, currency (eg. Diamonds) or both. I think this is an important part to not leave out and would be something most retro owners would appreciate.
What about making it possible for the admin to customize "packages" that is for sale on the shop page. The admin can edit the content of these "packages" to contain everything from just premium currency and credits to memberships and even "bundles" that contain multiple types of goods. When it comes to payment methods, it appears vary depending on where in the world your retro is "located". The most universal method would be PayPal, so it might be an idea to implement PayPal as a default payment method but leave possibility for the admin to add additional methods?
Also, last time i checked in on Habbo, i believe they had a purchase history? Might be best to implement this as well, now that it is regarding real money.

Thanks for the ideas! I was thinking in implement exactly on this way.
Obviously if i do this. But the customization thing, can only be done when someone or me code the Housekeeping.
Anyways, it's a set of great ideas.
I'm planning to create those functions on the Housekeeping.:
1. All Shop Things (Payment Methods, Categories, Countries, Items, Rewards)
2. Articles (Minimail, Articles, Articles Categories)
3. Normal HK Features (User Management, Staff Management, Logs, Bans, Etc)
4. HabboWEB Pages Management (Pages Content)
5. Manage Photos Reports
6. Manage Room Reports
7. Manage User Security Answers
8. Manage Security Messages (User Chat Log, Groups Forums Logs, Messenger Logs)
9. Manage Habbo Groups & Habbo Rooms
What i really want it's making the Mod Tools of the Client being totally synced with Housekeeping.
The Housekeeping Design will be exactly like from AzureWEB (HoloCMS HK Style)
Because was a design inspired on Sulake's Housekeeping.
Also the external Links from HK (setted on the External Variables) will work with the Housekeeping.
My deal for Housekeeping it's simplicity, perfomance, security & amount of features coded in right way.
I will only publicly release the CMS (on Habbo Releases) after all Features being coded.
You can use the Pre-Release versions accessing our GitHub or watching/subscribing this thread.
Thanks for all the support, folks!

The thing with Paypal is that you need a business account to be able to use their api. When using the business account, you will lose € 0.35 + 3.4% (or whatever currency you use) per transaction. You'll also need to fill in business information, and as your retro hotel isn't an official business they may be able to find out you're making money on an illegal website. I'm not sure how often this actually happens, but it's a thing that I wouldn't want to be involved with. ( And you may have to fill in your CoC-number, which you won't have, but I'm not sure about this one).
Not using a business account is something I wouldn't recommend tho, because, as I said, you won't be able to use the api.
Other payment methods would not be that easy to implement when you want to give the retro owners the ability to customize the packages, as most payment websites have either fixed prices or prices that can only be used with a specific api, which you'd have to replace when you change a price.
-
Re: Chocolatey - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
@Joorren I will not use PayPal API. The checkout for PayPal things will be a simple redirect to an order button.
Yes the system will not refund the account automatically with what the user has purchased
But this is an Habbo retro
Actually selling something it's illegal.
I totally agree with you.

Or just use Stripe, this thing is really cool to handle credit card payments, professionally this is what I used to handle payments for participation booking in a cycling event. Brandless (meaning you can style your payment form on your side without any requirements from Stripe), requires literally just 3/4 API calls and you're done.
I know it's gadget but it also support payment with Bitcoins and Apple Pay, but I guess not many users on a retro would be paying using such methods.

All their require is a valid & verified (IBAN and identity verification) bank account like any human in age of having one would have, they don't care about how the money was made.
I mean they gotta know somewhere to send you your Stripe balance.

I think there shouldn't be a payment system included by default due to legal reasons. It should be up to the retro owners to implement it if they want it.

For the room screenshot, a way to do it would be to code a plugin that triggers the :screenshot command and save the result to a configured path in the plugin config.

Make sure you run composer install if you deploy the files on your webserver! The Vendor files are not included in the GIT repository to reduce space and can be downloaded.

Re: Chocolatey - Habbo.com Clone [CMS]
The first issue I had was the captcha one (for some reason it's gone for me).
The second issue is with the client, after creating a new account you are redirected to the client, but it's stuck at 76%.
Yes, I'm using the Habbo.swf provided by TheGeneral and the boon edit plus swf, but it's not working.
Apache 2.4.23
PHP 7.0.10
MySQL 5.6.32 (tried with 5.7.14, but got some errors while loading the db)
The server isn't xampp, but wampserver, because xampp's mariadb.

You're probably right about laravel.
But I'm going with MySQL. Why? MySQL and MariaDB aren't 100% compatible. So personally, I think the best choice to prevent possible compatibility problems is MySQL.
(though MariaDB is better and should be the thing imo)
-
Re: [Chocolatey | Espreso] Habbo.com Clone CMS & Housekeeping
MySQL and MariaDB are basically equals. You won't have any problem with a retro server. MariaDB is likely an open source MySQL version.
Also does you configured correctly the SWF?
I will give a look if the Auth ticket is really being updated.
About the CAPTCHA as I explained you need generate your own recaptcha key.

Also Chocolatey is only compatible with PHP 7 ;)

I can put my generated key.
