Samurai Spirits Siggy...

It's obviously still a WIP, but I've been wanting to turn the wallpaper I found into a signature banner for a while... and this is what I got so far..

Just wanting to know which one ya like more... Unfortunately I can't exactly use the fine tutorials put up here, since it's all for Photoshoppers, and I'm STILL using GIMP.. <_<' (Yea, yea I know I need to get my CS2 working on Linux...)

Not sure how I'll make the grunge one go with the board, or have a set border...
And I'm well aware of the 135(height)x480(width) siggy limit.

wel if uir aware of it, than remove it from ur sig... but i rekon it loks good

Huh? I was referring to the one I'm trying to make. My current one was made a few months ago, back when you could find the siggy rules in 5 million different places.

If by chance you thought the red text was in my siggy, you should squint your eyes to notice the obscure gray line right between my siggy image and the red text.

Alright, after tons of tweaking, what do you guys think? I'm not good with the whole "blending" concept at all, so I guess you can see that evident in the brushed one.. Text can be changed of course, I'm just putting the text there for more or less the "fun of it". Got the clean version, and the grunge/darker version. I'm happy with how they scaled out as well.

Hmm, I'd like to see you try to make something of equal or greater quality in gimp. Lots of people say Linux sucks because they can't get past using/being WinLazy. I imagine it's the same with using Photolazy, instead of gimp. =P
