Honestly its best to use the season you want instead of downgrading.
Downgrading a S9 Files will require a lot of work.
If you want the most stable files here is a list.
- IGCN: S9
- Xteam: S8,S6 Which is the files MUEMU took.
- MUEMU: S6,S4,S8 They are known for stealing and not giving great support so be warn but there free files is okay.
- Zteam: S6,S8 Both was good but require some bug fixes in the source
- TitanTech: S6 it was the best to me and got me started in coding

Most events and stuff can be disabled in files,if you want to remove monsters then don't put them in monstersetbase.
