SPP-Aion 5.8 repack
This repack only working on Win64 (x64) systems.
Included in this repack:
- Modified AionGermany 5.8 emulator
(https://github.com/AionGermany/aion-germany)
- Portable java 7 and 8 x64 (both required)
- Click and play
How to install:
1. Download the package
2. Extract it anywhere
3. Start the servers, start with 1_start_database.bat
4. Use the included launcher to start the game

The server works flawlessly, thank you very much for that :) I seem to be having problems with the client, when you get to select server, and click ok, nothing happens. I've set permissions for both client and server folders (Windows 10 you are a big piece of flaming shit), added ports (including 3312), and also managed to access the login server database, checked the ip, mask, and password there (tried changing * to localthost/127.0.0.1), still no joy. If anyone could shed any light on this, it would be much appreciated.
UPDATE: Nevermind, I'm an idiot >.> Was using wrong client :rolleyes::blushing:
Doesn't work for me:
Server starts and seems to work flawlessly.
Downloaded the current client from Gameforge (v189, no idea if that is Aion Version 5.8 or not)
But as soon as I start the launcher, the Aion splash screen shows up for a few seconds and crashes.
No error message.
So if somebody could direct me to a workin EU 5.8 client, that would be awesome.
P.s. Just found an error log which contains some information:
an Access Violation in module aion.bin at 0023:00000000.
Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation.

Interestingly the client starts if I run it from a Windows 7 vm, but not from my Windows 10 machine... But thats not really a solution. The virtual machines gpu emulation has some problems with this game.
Thought my virus scanner may cause this problem, but disabling the av doesn't work as well.

The manastone "Accuracy" of High Daeva is still not working. Very sad. :(
i would play this repack in lan with my girlfriend! how do i configure that another pc in the lan can login? pls help
in the client of your girlfriend you will to create *.bat with a similar command line
start bin32\aion.bin -ip:(IP-adress of your PC with working Aion server) -cc:2 -lang:eng -noweb -noauthgg
Just change the IP-address of your girlfriend in the client to the address of your computer that runs the server.

Check out the site Aion Database, choose your language top right, depending on what item you want. Be warned though, not all item ids work, either because it's a newer version, or because it's defunct. You then type in chat //additem item id number, there's a list of GM commands within the main aion section itself which is even stickied with the info in.Quote:
