First post contains now an link u might be intrested in . just update ur wow to 1.9.4 and than aply the patch thats in the first post .

Okay.. there are 2 ways... if you usw ENGB version, just patch 1.9.4 and extract my pack, thats all!

If you use another version, you need to do it by yourself...
What you need: DBC <-> SCV converter and WinMPQ..

1. First backup your W0W dir...
2. Patch to 1.9.4
3. overwrite with your backup files... (but NOT the data dir)
(now you have 1.8.0 with 1.9.4 data)
But that is NOT compatible... you get 2 dbc errors...
4. Extract with winmpq from the patch-2.mpq the spell.dbc
5. convert it to SCV and open with notepad...
6. delete in the first row the LAST 3 entrys (something LIKE... bool,bool,bool,)
7. convert back to .dbc
8. extract the second .dbc file from dbc.mpq
9. W0W works! but you will get interface errors!
10. to avoid them all you need to do is to extract first the "interface\" folder from the "interface.mpq" and then the "interface\" folder of your old "1.8.x" "patch.mpq" and replace them.

Now you should be able to play it... Maybe my interface and dbcfilesclient folders work on other languages of W0W.. but i did NOT try it...
Maybe someone could do the same for other versions and post them here (is only a 4 mb file)

I cant seem to create the account.
When I open DButil.exe, it just states that
'The instruction at "0x00a0af19' referenced memory at '0x00ac9300'. The memory could not be 'read'. How do you fix this?

klick exlusive mode button first then try to make an account . and that will happen when u close it i have the same problem make the account let dbutil open then go into game and do an ws with .save then u are done .

1) Ok if you have HT technology then use this patch to try and fix the Emu crash (Don't use this if you don't have HT, and there are two links provided both are the same just using different hosts):

If you run this patch and get a CORRUPT FILE or VIRUS WARNING-

Delete wowemu.exe
Delete wowemu.exe.bak

Rename wowemu.HT1 to wowemu.exe
Rename wowemu.HT2 to wowemu.exe.bak

This will restore the original files.

Next

Edit WoWEmu_No_HT.bat
You can use any text editor.
Locate the section-


:PATCH
if exist wowemu.exe imagecfg -a 0x1 ".\wowemu.exe"
if exist WoWemu.exe.BAK imagecfg -a 0x1 ".\WoWemu.exe.BAK"


and place a REM in front of line 2 in that section.

:PATCH
if exist wowemu.exe imagecfg -a 0x1 ".\wowemu.exe"
REM if exist WoWemu.exe.BAK imagecfg -a 0x1 ".\WoWemu.exe.BAK"


Save the changes.
Run the patch again.

2) If you have NOD32 antivirus, then put ignore on wowemu.exe in AMON and IMON.

3) If you have a firewall turn it off, then try running the Emu again

4) THIS IS IF NOTHING ELSE WORKED: uninstall your antivirus and switch of your firewall, if the Emu now works then re-install the antivirus and it should be ok, if the Emu didn't work then re-install your antivirus and go to the last step.

5) You will have to download windows 2000 pro, and get the patch service pack 4 for it. (I ont have the links for them but i suggest you search on google or look in a program like limwire or kazaa).

Server crashing after login fix


1) Open your wow emu folder and look for a file called "zlib.dll"

2) Check the file's version, to do this right click on the file then >properties >version and at the top you should see a title called "version", check the file's version from there.

3) The file should be version 1.2.2.1628 with a size of 62.3kb, if its not then download a new zlib from here (Only for UWC Emu's and my repacked Emu's):

How to change your XP Rate:


I only added this cos soo many ppl kept asking how to do it :P

1) Open your startup.tcl file located in your scripts folder

2) Locate these set of lines:

# Starting XP
set base_xp [expr {(5.0*($killer_level-1))+50.0}]
set xp $base_xp

3) Where it says "5,0*", change it to any number to change your Xp the higher it is the more xp you gain, the lower the less xp you gain.

4) close and save then load your emu

Keep in mind that in different Emu's the line may vary slightly, if it does, just make sure the line is similar to it, so it has to say "starting XP", and nothing else like "Xp decrease", or "XP increase".

For UWC repacks and my 1.9.x repack this is how the XP line will look like:

# Xp modificator, how much Xp a Player becomes...
set xpmod 2

In this case simply change the "2", to a different number. The higher the number the higher the xp you will get per kill.

Sorry, I dont really get what you mean~
Let DButil open then go into the game (meaning launch WOW?)
And then go into the game (How? If I cant even create my acount?)

Can i also ask if the wow emu 'UWC_RR_v1.0.9' is for WOW version 1.8.0? Or is it for 1.9.0?

hey trashman, great list but just some quick questions here.

ok, the question is, i made a warrior and i wanted to put full wrath on him, but it said i can't use it cause i hadn't learned plate yet, so i went to the trainer and she doesn't teach plate mail at all =\ so i tried .learnsk and it said that i now learned plate mail, but i still couldn't use the items...how do i fix this? >.<

2nd question, is it possible to bring in my own graphics for items? so if i wanted to bring the graphics of the new Wrath or other tier 2 sets.

and just a note, NPC_MOB creature_creator, doesn't work. I've downloaded it 3-4 times now, and each time i go to use it it says 'C://windows/system32/mscoree.dll is not a valid windows image"

ok the creature thing will work u need .net framework i belive but it worked i tested it .
what u mean by own grafix ?
the first is dificult i dunno if thats an emu problem or an pack problem and if its for the pack and u use 1.1 UWC RR than w8 for the new beta release .
The uwc rr 1.0.9.9 is for all versions 180 1 2 3 and 190 192 hack :P or even with the litle patch upthere for 194 :P And yes i mean leave the dbcutil open then start wow and login onto ur server make shure u have set ur plevel to 6 then in your game screen press enter and type .save .

also you can just run your server (wowemu.exe)

then go to a dos prompt (in winxp start>run>cmd>ok)

then type ipconfig and look at what ip it gives you

then open an internet browser and go to http://yourip:8080

yourip is whatever it said like 192.168.1.100 or something like that when you did ipconfig.

This is very strange~
Everytime I launch Wowemu.exe, I have some errors;

Error: 196
and then it states;

WoWemu.exe - Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occured in the application at location 0x7c81eb33

Any solutions to this problem?
And sometimes the WoWemu closes automatically as well~
