Curious about Japan/taiwan server

So wasn't sure if anyone here has played the actual X-legends site version of Aura Kingdom, but if you have how is it p2w compared to Aeria? And if you have played it, does anyone know how to play it outside of Japan? I was able to signup for an account and get the game but when it comes to logging on the game just sits there. I'm assuming maybe my IP since I'm in North America? Although I did try a VPN and that didn't work. Any ideas?

if irc it was more p2w than Aeria games, about playing it outside of japan, i suggest using mudfish and possibly a vpn
