thanks you guys! really appreciate this help.
Have u tried disabling firewall first? If port is not forwarded , you cant access channel sometimes. If still cannot, maybe can check magickey
yep! bringing down the firewall did not do it, also VER & MK is a match...

do you think, I need to start again from ground up?
how bout the magickey in xdata.enc? Is it the same as DB and loginsvr?
xdata.enc is on the client's folder right? how do I check that? with a de-compressor right, after I decompressed it, what app should I use to open and edit it?
for DB and LogInSvr, they are both the same I have not checked the xdata.enc on the client's folder side, wew! missed that!
thanks you again!
client side magic key is different than serverside.
Set this magickey 543957823 on serverside + DB and restart LoginSvr_01 service.
both are same brother,?
thanks you so much!
so my CentOS IP is 192.168.1.3

dude, but I told you fix, what else you want?
I said, set this magickey in serverside 543957823 in LoginSvr_01.ini + Database.
Then try to connect...
Magickey that you use in your serverside are different than the above I gave you - look carefully on it please. :*:
damn... hold on brother... em getting dizzy,.. actually this is the third time around setting the server from ground up...
you know what?! I am really lost here... actually I had my fourth time setting up the server from ground up. but still new sh!t comes up from one next and the other...
server runs fine, but when it comes to the client side I am really packed up deep!
https://i.postimg.cc/7PJvkPSj/SERVEROK3.jpg
I have done everything you guys have told me to do, but still same sh!t... :(

Bro I'm lost where you are.
Just two replies back you were able to connect and select channel and you had problem at this point.
Now you can't login at all :D
Logs logs logs logs, from now everytime you ask, upload latest logs.
Always use client from the same release, don't play with them.

dude, your server is not up again due to special characters in database user password.
[##ERROR##] Special Character Error ! ( @, /, \)
for christ sake! after all this time I have been using special characters on all of my passwords on setting up the server... grrrrr!!!
back to square one, gotta start a fresh one just to be safe.

once again, you have saved the day! now, i need a kick ass client for this kick ass repack server of AzureSensei

thanks you so much for the help! I really really appreciated it. if I could rep. you a thousand times I will but only 1 is allowed.
Best is to use one of those releases -

http://forum.ragezone.com/f459/relea...pdate-1179284/
I think the first one will be easier for you to setup, with the second one more work is required to make everything working.
It all depends what are your plans, whether you want to have fun on local, or planning to have a server.
Still i think first files should be better for you.
purely fun with my wife and nephews,.. and you made that happened! a thousand thanks to you brother!
while doing the client I am now attempting to create a web server within the CentOS? is have been reading through this links...
https://linuxize.com/post/how-to-ins...e-on-centos-7/
https://linuxize.com/post/how-to-set...s-on-centos-7/
