I test it on 7.7 and its working fine but there is a catch you need older 7.7 GlobalVersion=290
here is a tut for you to get older releases if it is on steam so i search the steamDB and found it is from 4 November 2020 – 09:20:01 UTC before 7.8

For that you don't need to use Win Server 2008 R2 and Java 1.8, you need to use Mysql, JDK 1.7 and Navicat Premium.

I tried installing and running win10 x64, JDK 1.7, and Navicat Premium using VM, but the same error occurs.

ok this is stand alone repack its has database so you dont need to install mysql if you want to use it just as i told you before stop the other mysql service from running and then run this repack

open your Task Manager and stop mysql5 or mysql* then start the repack check the video on op last min

EDIT: This Sql has the fix account_data for you to create accounts automatically :wink:

Don't forget to configure in LoginServer\config\network...

Yes server files run really well without any errors. However, if you edit goodslist.xml, the changes are not applied.

There are some barriers placed on Server and you will need the source code to solve.

There is no error log exposed. Even if you edit the item list of goodslist, it is not applied. Also, if I try to download version 7.7 of AION, my account will be rejected

In my estimate, there seems to be some packet errors on the 7.5 verision 216 client and the current server.

Ugh, can someone make the 7.7 steam download into a google drive or torrent or something? Apparently you can't get it in the US, has to be an EU address. I did try and play on the 7.5 version and got the game to run but lots of bugs in the quests and no items.

The version.dll file was additionally needed in the 7.5 client. 7.7 Is there a version.dll file that works on the client?

I used version.dll, but it recognizes it as a client of version 216.

This warning message did not occur when I used the notaion file.

It did not occur continuously. However, after using the 7.7 version you uploaded, these packet messages are sent continuously. All clients downloaded normally.

So tried this, when I get to Heiron there are still no items in merchant shops or Oakle shop vendor. Not sure why that is, the quests seem to be working though so I thank you for that! Will have to look into that more tomorrow I guess. Doesn't look like anything in the Luna vendor either. And aren't quests supposed to give you gear also? Or was that taken out?

The server opens everything for me, and the game, but when I log in I can't, the self-account is active but nothing happens ,say ID or password does not match, and gameserver config is autoacount :/ , and when I create an account in the database I get this when I want to log in ,you are not old enough to play the game , help pls

I'm stumped on mine, clearly Robson's shows all items and stuff, but in terms of trying to level the Acorn store is empty and no gear when getting to Heiron makes it difficult to level normally. Getting to Heiron with starter gear with no other gear to purchase for upgrading. It's ok though, still a great release either way! I just don't have Robson's skill in fixing things :D

On server is in... \data\static_data\luna\luna_templates.xml,
but on the Client you need the right tool to edit .pak.
The forum must have tutorial.

That seems pretty intensive, guess I'm probably gonna have to wait on that then. How did you get yours looking so perfect? Did you do all the work editing and building that yourself?

Yes, i fixed it myself. I use 7.7, the Luna also needs to be edited.

Ahh, well that's good to know at least. Wish I had your skills to fix lol, but I will have to survive without for now :)

So I got the .pak file extracted but not sure what I'm supposed to add to make it work. Are you saying I can get a luna.pak from a different version of Aion and just swap it out? Or am I supposed to unpack the Luna, edit a bunch of the files, and then repak it with files from the Luna static file in the server? Or am I just all out confused lol.

GM Console were not implemented in this server, the gmhandler folder is missing on source code.

@Tanzer No complicated work is required. You only need to import the xml file in static_data of 7.8. The pak file is the same when unpacking both versions.

There are some errors in playing the game.

1. Lumiel's transformation continues to fail.

2. Ting-kim phenomenon occurs when performing the ultimate transformation twice.

3. No data is saved in the player_transform_collections table.

4. Even if the goodslist is modified, it is not reflected. Do I need to modify the client file?

I'm sorry, I'm completely confused by what you're saying lol. The only static_data folder I have is in the server side and that's the 7.7 one in this thread. 7.8 I'm not even sure where a server version of that is. I don't see a static_data folder in the client at all, just a data folder with a Luna folder and a Luna.pak in that folder. So do you mean I need to take the 4 xml's that are in the luna folder of the server and import them into the luna.pak file in the client's data side? If it's too confusing don't worry about it but thanks for trying :D

Anyone have an idea of how to //add luna to their account I tried through the database table players but it did not show up in the client and it is needed to pass lvl 10 missions.
Update got through with the luna account table

Also don't think it is compatible outside the localhost network tried using external ip but got the message above gs and ls not authintacating I think it was the similar solution possiblity is I missed a setting in the database

1.Lumiel's transformation technique cannot be executed twice. After doing it once, the point null error as above occurs.


2.Transformation collection is not activated. When the collection is activated on the client, it does not enter the mysql database.


3.I still don't know how to edit the goodslist. It can't be reflected. Any help would be appreciated.

I am using the uploaded client normally. If the client is the problem, is there another client with better compatibility?

the DMg is high try to edit the item
you can test it i am not sure
look for the item id in Server\gameserver\data\static_data\items\item\item_etc_templates.xml and lower its dmg

I have not edited the item data. When wearing an item, the display of the information window on the client screen is abnormal. Try wearing the Ultimate Dark Talon item.

These stats are from 7.5 and are not compatible with bin32 from 7.7,
this needs to be fixed in the source code in... \src\com\aionemu\gameserver\network\aion\serverpackets\SM_STATS_INFO.

You can use the bin32, it is compatible with stats 7.5 and can be used on client 7.7.
