Hey everyone,
Hopefully this gives the community a little boost enabling newer users to get started easier.
Used to play back in old school days and dabble a little in retros and always struggled setting up a retro unless it was a 1click.

Finally got a better understanding and some help and made this server with an old school Habbo old school RS and RS classic server setup ready to go in just a few clicks no tech knowledge needed.
I also included a ton of customs ive paid for and found.

Everything here isnt my work ive just changed settings and made a repack into an easy virtual machine , credits to everyone who’s work ive repacked.

The servers are all setup to run privately on your local host but can be easily changed with some quick edits to be accessed by whoever.

All you need to do is
- download the 7zip file,
- Unzip with 7zip
- Install Virtual Box
- Choose to add existing virtual box and choose the file you just unzipped.
- Start Virtual Machine
- Rest of simple instructions are on sticky notes when you open the machine

For people who want to set it up on there own computer (not virtual machine) here’s the files and quick instructions

Latest Habbo

1. Download/install xampp
2. Start Apache and MySQL in xampp control
3. Delete files inside C:/xampp/htdocs
4. Replace with files inside CMS zip
5. Create database on MySQL called habbo and execute habbo.sql in that database
6. Extract emulator and open Run file
7. Using chrome for nitro or a flash enabled browser for flash open 127.0.0.1
8. Default account is user: habbo password: password

Habbo Old School - Kepler

1. Install xampp and start apache and mysql on control
2. Make mysql database called kepler in phpmyadmin or with navicat
3. Execute sql file in database
4. Replace xampp/htdocs with files from classic.zip
making sure that its xampp/htdocs/classic
5. Start Server and connect with shockwave browser at 404 Not Found
6. Default user is habbo password is password

I was hoping with this to help build to community and let builders not have to worry about getting there builds wiped .
I think it would be cool if we had somewhere we could exchange the sql code for our rooms to use and share with other hotels :D

Just checking did you execute the habbo sql in your habbo MySQL database and is MySQL database user:root password:(empty) databasename: habbo

If all else fails try the main download, everything is setup automatically and ready to go in the virtual machine download , the DIY files are a quick side project WIP

yes and register dont work the sql is missing allot and i dont know what but im trying to setup it on a vps

Ill setup the files on a fresh machine when i get home and try diagnose.
What version of windows is your vps?

I wonder if theres a way to convert the pre setup virtual box machine to be setup on your vps.

Hey i have just setup on completely fresh machine and recorded video of installation.
Files all seem to be working fine so theres something not right with your system.
This was done on windows 10 64x

Only thing i did after installing windows fresh was install, latest oracle jdk, install navicat (easier mysql not required, xampp

but if you check your video its missing tables in the database too groups ect yes you can login as habbo and use the password password and it lets you go on the client but i installed on my pc and server both i have to remove codes asking for unknown tables in database

ill try on VIRTUAL BOX threw my vps and keep in touch

So i tried to do your own files again didnt work and the virtual did i extracted files from the virtual and it works now ill try on my server now

I’m pretty sure if there missing any tables it’s not really important to local play cause I’ve been playing it fine , could you screenshot what it says ? I may as well see if I can fix those tables but doesn’t sound like there important . Can always just copy those missing tables from Arcturus websites sql file maybe?

okay wont work at all if i portforward on anything it only works localhost

All the files have been setup for local LAN play only,
its possible for you to change the settings to be public but you gotta make sure to change them all . if you use notepad++ and use the replace too to replace 127.0.0.1 with your IP is the quickest way

i know i did all of it and it still shows that i dont know i think the cms isnt setup right for it or something will just try to install a new cms for it and try to host it

Hi could you give me a list of files that are needed to amend both in the emulator and Htdocs?

I tried to do as u said, but im stuck at nitro connecting...

Hey everything is preset up already for local host gaming no file editing needed.
This is a single player project.
