[Guide] Adding New Eidolons (TW)

One of the few things that we can keep updated on old versions (v3, v7, v8) of Aura Kingdom are the Eidolons (at least until X-Legends decide to change it), Mounts, Weapon Skins, Hair, Back costumes etc. Today I'll give a little hint on how to add a new Eidolon from the Chinese Client to Your Client.

HOW TO

I'll be using as a example for this guide the new Mermaid Eidolon.

1 - Go to Aura Kingdom DB, turn the language to Chinese and go to the Eidolon section.
2 - Click on the Eidolon you want to add. Check his ID on the URL (Mermaid ID is 217: /tw/eidolon/217-nameoftheidolon)
3 - Click on the Eidolon Image on AuraKingdom-DB. Check the name of the image. (Mermaid: M97801.jpg)


217 is the ID of the Eidolon that go on the S_Partner.ini and C_Partner.ini files. You can copy the line of the Eidolon 217 on C_Partner.ini from TW Client and paste on your S/C_Partner.ini.
M978 is the texture name. It can be found on C:/FFONLINE/biology/texture.

4 - Copy all the textures from biology/texture that starts with M978 and put it on your biology/texture folder.
5 - Copy the M978.kfm from biology folder to yours.
6 - Copy the M978.nif from biology/model to your biology/model folder.
7 - Copy the M978_attack etc from biology/animation to your biology/animation folder.
8 - Open the Motion.ini from TW Client and copy the m978 lines to your server and client Motion.ini (IMPORTANT!)
9 - Copy the biologylist.ini from TW to your Client/Server side, or the Eidolon wont show up on Eidolon Interface.

Now you have the basic files on your client to make the Eidolon appear. But this is not the end.

ADDING SKILLS

For the Eidolon to work 100% you need to copy the C_PartnerCombo.ini lines that calls the ID |217| to your S/C_PartnerCombo.ini files. On this file you can see the IDs from the ULTIMATE SPELLS of each eidolon ID. You'll need to go to C_Spell.ini from the TW client (Check UseresU's github for the converted version of files to v7, so you wont need to edit the |'s) and add manually this three (6 with the previous normal skills) SPELL IDS to your S_PELL/C_SPELL.ini. Don't forget that each SPELL calls a ENCHANT on S_ENCHANT/C_ENCHANT. For example:

The first is the ID of the spell. The second is the ID of the ENCHANT that this spell is linked on S_Enchant.ini.

In orange the ENCHANT ID that is linked on S_Spell.ini. In BLUE is another ENCHANT that its need for this enchant to work. So you'll have to get this 54319 enchant on S_Enchant.ini too, or the server wont start.

FINAL THOUGHTS

This is just a simple guide to help your learn how to do it by yourself. So read it again and again and again. And with time you'll figure out how to make this work 100%! I won't give 100% (Eidolon Gift, Gaia Chronicles etc) because I want you to learn the same way I did :) So you can work on your server without fear of doing something wrong, or dont know how to fix some issue your may have.

Do you happen to have any of the PKG Extractors? All of the links are dead sadly.
