Opening map datas on unity.
Hi everyone, I've been recently playing around with unity and have found that it is very much possible to put the map (terrain, objects, etc.) into unity and improvise them.
I saw this video on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmsoyuSB2Sw) and I was amazed by how it turned out on unity.
I have also read a thread where Elliana talked about map datas and what they are.
So here is my question:
1. I have been talking to some script developer for unity but I don't know what to ask of them instead I just told them that I need a unity script that can read the files (MapData.tcm) on unity.
2. On the youtube video, I know that mapdata.tcm is where you generate the terrain of a certain map but how on earth was he able to place the objects accordingly? Like I tried playing around with map objects and their texture and it is so hard to mix and match them accordingly. So there's gotta be something that he did to automatically place the map objects accordingly.
I hope someone can answer me. Thank you!
