Corsair Server Files + Client + Market

Greetings BDO Community,

It has come to the attention of many, that there are those who seek to profit unjustly behind the scenes by selling broken/infected files to anyone who has the money to do so. It has then been determined, that the Corsair Server files will be released here and now, for free, for the betterment of the community, and to put a stop to the people trying to profit off of these files.

These files are setup the same way the already released NOVA files are, however, setup instructions will be provided regardless. Also included are the Central Marketplace files, and a clean corsair steam client.

If you are having auth issues, change the Service.ini from NA to NA_ALPHA.

Lastly, ZERO support will be given for these files. You are on your own. Make sure to mirror these files too, since those who seek to continue to profit form them will want to bring them down asap.

Didn't you buy them for yourself to do just that?
trying to run a server and make a profit?

But because of
ZERO support for these files.

You got burned and now you're fucking mad, aren't you?

This doesn't change anything as the vast majority won't be ready to pay $100-200 per month to rent a server to run those files and play "for themself

What you've done here is you've given many bad guys the opportunity to rip off players by running a cash grab server. Assuming they know what they're doing.

Is this server is official servers files? I won't touch it cause it requires too much RAM just fire it up. If it's an emulator like that guardian corrected ones. I'd probably run it and test things out. I would suggest someone can mirrors to different free hosts than 1fichier because they have horrible limited download waiting times per each.

If you are using the steam client as is, maybe is because its not "patched", probably using the bin64 folder or the d3d9.dll that should be in the client download from the server files ( this release ), like what happened with the Nova release, to make it working.

So it's not JAVA emu it's PTS server?
And it's more functionally then NOVA, i.e. newest and more rulezz then NOVA?

I keep getting CRC-error: Corsair\Client.rar Does anyone else have this problem ?

i'm downloading the part7 atm i'm highly glad to see ppl who help others just for nothing than a greeting, thanks to much boy, i hope this corsair version can be opened with 300gb virtual ram from my sata ssd like nova one <3 i'm so hyped to have all the downloads and start testing those files!

If you pay for 1fichier premium (about 3 euro for a month) you can use a download manager like IDM to download it. I did and grabbed all 210GB of these files in a little under an hour.

coz i supose need to run another server with hadum settings up but not sure i'm not developer but as i've noticed with the nova files, when the field is not up at all also in this screen appears the maintenance label

Because you run only one server. Its easy. 1 server = 1 instance. Basicly if you want to have multiple servers - you need to run multiple servers. Its hard to do on one machine,tho..

is a way just to run only hadum server? instead "normal"

i got 128gb ddr4 in this machine for a server and nova would push all 128gb to the max but after 15 mins of starting it would drop to 40gb ram. so if you have the need for 2 realms with a light population you could do it easy

how install central market?

i think there are 2 db's missing and a apache or some webserver files coz central market works with webserver

I think it uses IIS webserver from microsoft with ASP.net as in many of the 'web.config' files is even a link at the top to the ASP.net microsoft page.
And yes at least two dbs are missing, and why are all the terminals blank? Server starts and runs, but is there a way so they display what they are doing like nova version does?

Server isn't registered and timezone, but the second error might be a follow up, check the DataSheet_Server Excel if both are the same and the server is registered there, just a typo can be enough to stop it. If the other two start then i guess the timezone settings should be fine.

The release looks good, but damn! It is huge. Looks to be at lease 2x the size of Nova files. My guess why is that a lot of it is duplicated between the Field and Auth/Manager server folders. My guess why that is would seem to be the need to have separate service.ini files for the field and the auth servers to use.

Beyond that it seems this is a workable release if you don't mind duplicating your configuring and database ODBC setup (I do them for one then copy them to the other).

Here's a couple little things I found that might make your lives a little simpler -

The dsn files - on the 1st page of configuring there is a 120.0.0.1,#### (port number) that would not work for me and kept timing out trying to talk to the database. I changed that to "(local)" and it can talk to the database fine. If your database is NOT on the same machine, you need to put the database server name here.

The DataSheet_Server.xlsm file has 4 servers listed like so -

In my case I have named the 4th one "Normal" In the distributed files it is called "Season". Note 2nd and 4th row. These are game server rows.
I am not sure how the server numbers work but the one that seems to be active is server #101.

The season server by default comes set as 1. In my case I do not want a season server so I set the active server to 0.
If you want the server to be a Hadum server Set that server "isHadumChannel" to 1 instead of 0.

While I have not tested it my assumption is that if you delete the 2nd spreadsheet row the Hadum server will not be listed at login.

btw what a monsterdatabase is it this one? like75-80gb of db <3

It is the SQL--Transaction log that allocates so much space. The database size itself seems pretty normal.

btw does someone know which timezone is madrid? coz is a lil boring just to take every single time i want to open my server to go to the clock and put it in london and this changes every single time XD

Madrid is time zone 1, just 1. If you have an error telling about time zone maybe its because in your pc has the auto setup thing to change time in summer/winter auto, If you still have errors, this setting are not the problem. Is another thing.

No Java , It's the same version as Nova

Your RAM being too low most likely.

If there is not enough RAM the server parts will just close, if you want to use the server with windows pagefile you have to manually set it to a higher value as windows itself is to slow to increase it by itself for the amount the server needs.

I've pretty much the same or a similar issue, and I've run out of ideas... the client opens and closes without error, with the d3d9 dll file from the server, it gives error "failed to init auth" or something like that

the Nova server/client work, the retail client works, but non of the corsair client work (I tried 3 different clients, all refuse to start)

if anyone has any idea, I'd be really grateful ...

wish i could help but i can't even get the manager to load soon as it opens it crashes, and there it plenty of swap file on windows server 2016 for it to run and physical memory so i also am running out of ideas

log file is blank on mine, auth runs, world server loads no problem, but manager just quits on load xD, event viewer is like no help at all sorry

yea i fixed it by updating to server 2019 from 2016, was the os causing the problem

Oh wow okay, thats annoying, but good that it now works! I just mirrored my 2019 Server from nova and replaced with corsair.

another question i do have i changed the server to not be on season but it is, so anyone got any ideas?

i've been able to launch server and game i've done a couple commands sit on my dreamed nightmarish pegasus and saw all my full pen gear XD but i've surrended coz was unplayable with 16 physical ram and stressing with VR my both SSD's

This version is also leaked to Pearl Abyss.

General Question - has anyone managed to cleanly update the PAZ files for this server. I can't due to the invalid Korean characters in the filenames (Yes, I have already tried turning my OS into a Korean server (changed local, language and downloaded Korean language pack - everything in Korean), but that did not fix the problems - the characters still invalid.

If anyone has managed to create a set of clean, matching PAZ files, please share!!

Running the server, connecting and actually managing to play is not a problem for me. Without being able to update the PAZ files, I cannot get them to match 100% between the client and server. Without that selling stuff other than potions at an NPC will not work (invalid slot errors). You can buy or acquire all the stuff you want though. You just can't get rid of drops without deleting them.

I did manage to get this all working, including creating synchronized PAZ files, on the Nova server. Beyond no CM or any of the web based stuff like the dice game it works without bugging at all.

I am at the point where I am ready to delete the entire Corsair setup and stick to the Nova server/client.

Yeah you can just put everything to storage and sell it but i know thats just not fun.

I copied the DataSheets folder from Login to field and those are not even the same. Field crashes cause something is missing then in one of the excel files.
There are so many copies of copies of excel files and rar's everywhere its a mess to find out which are the correct ones.

I set the Server to normal, for one Character it worked, the others get more exp then the first one, no season-characters, no season channel, it is just strange overall.

There is even a folder in bin64 where another 'd3d9' and 'd3d9d' file sit, even bigger then the ones in bin64 itself, server starts with them fine, but client does not.

I was able to create some paz files, but not those it neededto sync correctly and the client did not like em anyway, client crashed and said something about invalid.

Its a shame as this server runs somewhat better performance wise with 16 gigs for me then nova Version.

so far i have managed to get a season char to play on the hardcore version of the server and a normal one, i will continue the tinkering after some sleep
