This and oneleaf.icu are completely random a few minutes ago the download speed was at 10mbps now its at 50kbps.

Yes sir it's slow and fast sometimes But there are 2 websites you can download 2 files at a time and my mine can load one file at a time load multiple files error

inside all this files there is an archive called Blackdesert, just add extension .rar and use password to extract.


Inside QuestDialogDataSheet change DataSheet_QuestTable_NPC_Balenos2.xlsm to DataSheet_QuestTable_NPC_Balenos.xlsm.

That is the real BDO source, from 2016. Requires VS2010 to compile, the client does build but it you have to put in a little bit of work.

Sorry for the wrong language, for some reason I thought of writing in English and ended up typing in the native language, lol.

That's cool. Would only the client be included or is the server also included? Since you just referred to the client. I haven't downloaded it yet, slow internet.

There was a korean client included in the original release, but it's not a match to the source. The closest client we found to the source was the CBT NA/EU client, and even that has a bunch of issues and doesn't work out of the box. There were was no server data included, so one would have to probably alter this release in order to get a full set of working files.

The revision of the source is 204388, I can't remember if this rev is before or after the included code patch, but I do know the patch doesn't change it drastically. So you would need to find a client version around that number, and start there.

tl;dr to use the source, expect to put in a bunch of work.

Oh, I see. Actually I'm not interested in having a src compiling/running, I was also referring to whether the server source is included, because I would like to be able to see the server source.

Being BDO an AAA mmo and developed by Koreans, it seems to be a source of pleasures for knowledge/learning. :)

Server source is included, but it's not quite what you expect. It's essentially a wrapper for the game code library.

Think now the source is posted we should put together it's own dedicated thread about it instead of it hiding away in a post in this thread, if someone want's to do that it would make things easier and keep this thread clean.

About these files tho, is there an API or official website released that we can run in conjunction with the files? I'd expect it would need work obviously but this section should get more popular with the releases coming out. At some point we should combine all the findings in a thread as well as any old clients, tools and information we find. Was very suprised to see BDO official files posted :)

As for tutorials look in the Black Desert Tutorials forum section - there are plenty there. Also, the corsair server downloads include installation/setup instructions.

The full-fledged ones in the Tutorials section are form the emulator era. I can't seem to find one for the official files, esp. these 795 files.

I take it that, by corsair server tutorial, you're referring to the one made by Ledie, right? I actually followed it to the point where I need to import the database. Not sure which ones in this 795 package I should use, I tried to boost it up without any, which obviously led to a failure (logs below). Any suggestions?

So now the DB connection seems to be going through, but it results in a different error (pasted below). When executing the SQLs, I did notice an error with CH_JOY_BILLINGDB_0001.sql - Invalid object name 'PaPubPublic.uspAuthenticateAccount'. Not sure if that's relevant tho, where do you think I should go next?

try to use service.local.ini rename to service.ini.

I fiddled a lotta configs around today and found out that my actual problem is that the game can't connect to the DB using the CrimsonDesert account. Its password seems to be hardcoded. The one set in world.dsn is not evaluated - for example, I set it to sa with the corresponding password, but the error is still Login failed for user 'CrimsonDesert'.

Do you know what password I should use for the CrimsonDesert account? The one from CREATE_LOGINS.sql ("No1") doesn't seem to work.

I fiddled a lotta configs around today and found out that my actual problem is that the game can't connect to the DB using the CrimsonDesert account. Its password seems to be hardcoded. The one set in world.dsn is not evaluated - for example, I set it to sa with the corresponding password, but the error is still Login failed for user 'CrimsonDesert'.

Do you know what password I should use for the CrimsonDesert account? The one from CREATE_LOGINS.sql ("No1") doesn't seem to work.

maybe you need to delete the user database create it again and set it as dbo for all the server databases.

Unfortunately, I'm hitting eErrNoServerIsntRegistered again. I'll try to import the DB again and see how it goes.

Am I supposed to set anything up before starting "1. startAuthenticationProcess.cmd"? I'm lowkey confused 'cause "4. fakeAuth.cmd' just points to a non-existent "..\Scripts\fakeauth.py".

Strange enough, I successfully logged in to the game even though there are a ton of errors in the logs (attached below). Is this expected?

Maybe I'm chasing after the red herrings. It's been running for a few days with no issue, so I think those errors might cause no harm.
