Debunking the bible

Pen and tellers USA show called bullsh*t is basically about allot of crap that goes on, in this case its the bible, its a pretty good accurate debate on both sides of the story whilst taking context's out of the actual bible it self and translating them into a more understandable language to us lamers, and you be shocked to what you find.Watch with an open mind.

Those wanting my view

Its pretty much as you would expect, its common sence that the bible is based on storys passed on person to person and it would seem that allot of people can take pride or faith in the matter to look for that extra bit of security in their lives but afterall, if your just going to die at the end? why not just shoot yourself and get it over with? right?

Athesism is an extremist religion that is agains't all others.
From my point of view I see it as a bunch of people trying to find the logical conclusion to how we got here. Even though there is none. And at the same time badmouthing other religions.

its narrowminded and bigotid of you to say that athesism is "an extremist religion", athesism is a NON religion. Chosing to not be religious is not extreme, nor do atheists condem other religions.

Of course there is a logical and SCIENTIFIC reason why 'we' got here, its just a matter of finding out more information and what is in fact accurate.

Scientific reasoning so far is the Big Bang theory where the world was created after an explosion in space which kicked started molecular cell generation which progressed till we had pre-historic creatures, wiped out with the ice age, and new cell generation with the thaw thus evolving over millions of years into what we and the rest of the world is now.

The only one condeming here is you. Condeming other ppls rights to an opinion. Penn and teller are always controversial in how they put their view across no matter what the subject, but what they say does make for an interesting stand point.

Personally i come from an irish italian background with the catholic faith being my bread and butter growing up. I have had to pay the price for my lack of belief within my own family as they believe i will go straight to hell for denying the faith.lol oh well..good thing i dont believe in hell XD

I believe in science, I believe in humanity, I believe in loving and caring and helping my fellow man and creature and living life with as much good intention as possible without discrimination to others. THAT is my religion and im happy about that. :)

Me myself i don't believe in the bible or a religion, but i do respect the people who does it.

Lol, I've been told,(me=Muslim) That Allah made hell O_o and Satan to let us be good or something.. I don't take my religion serious.

Sorry if I sounded narrowminded.. I was just reacting to vinzone's first post. I am not part of any proper religion, I just find out information/points of view from people that are in the big religions, do research on these kind of things and belive what makes sense to me.

Yeah when the religen topic is brought up I just ask a few questions...like

Whos God is real? I mean the Chineese have many Gods and they are just as strong believers as us, and what about Izralies?
