I will perhaps soon play it, but this pixelshader conversion has to be done first (Oblivion uses pixelshader 2 which is a newer version, and thus you can't play the game on older cards, someone is converting it though, and is making nice progress), and depends if the game has enough action, i play Morrowind, but there is just way to little action, which makes the game unattractive to me.
Go join the arena >.> Its the best place for some 1v1 action and money...
The Arena is in Imperial City, right?Quote:

It looks amazing... but, due to Morrowind, I'll probably never buy an Elder Scroll game again. Morrowind was one of the most boring RPGs I've ever played. :\
I shouldn't really be judging Oblivion due to a prequel in the series, but I dunno... Morrowind was just bad to the point that it ruined my view on Elder Scrolls as a whole.
I played Morrowind for xbox and it was ok. Are the graphics of Oblivion in PC better than the 360 version??Quote:

You can also check the web for mods or moderation plugins for the game. Most of the old mods(week ago) are horribly out of date and buggy. The mods can be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on how its meant to be. The good mods atm are the housing mods, where houses are added to the game through the TES Construction kit.
This game seems like it will be the last one, but when you beat the game, Martin says something that is quite...annoying. I wont repeat it due to "spoilers" that people think they will get from it. But I hope there is an Elder Scrolls V: <insert another name>. It may take a few years, but the graphics would be amazing.
A lot of people think the Elder Scroll games are boring, and I fully agree. The games are ALL boring, but exciting in the sense of adventure. They can even be fun if you really try to roleplay your character. Sometimes I find myself calling someone a "bitch" when they think they can kill me...lol. And yes, I am saying that towards an NPC. One of the funniest things to do is join the Arena Guild, the guy that sets up the fights insults you and such, gets funny when he says that when you are on the last main quest of the game.
Bethesda has a lot of things they need to add:
1. When you are a guildmaster, you should be able to tell the guild members what to do(I became Gray Fox and the only perk was a free room, and that Cowl that makes guards chase you).
2. Changing weather based on seasons. The seasons dont even change, its ALWAYS spring in one place, ALWAYS winter in another.
3. Easier built homes. I built myself a lakeside home in the game using the TES Construction Set. It was so tedious that I wanted to stop when I only had a few things left to do.
4. Vampires. Enough said; Vampires in this game are useless imo. Unless you are cheating, it is hard to keep up with the blood needed to play the vampire. You can only drink the blood of a sleeping person, what crap is that? Why cant I hide myself in a robe and a hood and kill someone in the street alleys and suck their blood?
5. Guards. Enough said again, the guards are godly with an all seeing eyes, and all hearing ears. Eyes like an eagle, ears like a deer....in a human type creature...
6. Spell graphics. To tell you the truth the spell graphics are bland and to original, lol. Would be cool to summon ice onto the ground, break off an icicle and throw it at someone.
I give the game an 8/10. The two biggest flaws in the game are:
1. You need a good computer to really play the game. I have to play at medium quality because my 9 month old vid card isnt good enough. And I seem to always crash at the worst times.
2. The game has MANY bugs, and glitches. There is even a glitch to get infinite amounts of money, how could they miss that?
The good part is they can still issue patches, which you can choose to not take, or to take.
I cant wait until they add werewolves, if they do. Really want to play one in Oblivion.
Thats my 2c.
its a nice game, a little boring but quite adictive. i liked so much things in game like the creation of ur character, buy a house, horses and so many things. by the way 1 time i bought a horse, then accidentaly took sumthing from a table, one guard get me and told me to pay or get to jail, i dunn know what i have done then some huge bug happend......all the guards (IN ALL THE GAME) are stuck, and i can steal or kill without any problem!!... (:))
anyway, still a nice game.
I was wondering, is this like fable? (where you get married, get fame, get house, etc)
so is this for xbox or xbox 360
cause i dont have neither of them >.<
I heard that the map was *HUGE* in Morrowind.
Nah..Quote:

You can disable borders, then the map becomes huge.. but...
GIve the game more time, it needs mod's to be released in the community to open the game up more, Ive released a few versions of a mod that helps to rebalance teh game and I got great props for it from several people, along with hosting on a few servers.
PLay the game through to level 30, see how well you do.. then once you beat it start looking for mods <-- thats what I recommend =)
The game itself is on the Xbox 360, AND on the PC (I run it on PC)
Everyone on my xfire is playing it :/
