TBH It Says Never Lol. I Ain't Being A Drama Queen - I'm Getting Pissed Off With Things In General. The Fact That We Was Screwed With RZ L2 Is One Of Them, The Other With Moderators Lording It Out In That Thread - I Was Insulted By 3 Of Them And I Was Banned For Flaming Back?

If a moderator insults you, here are the steps to follow:

1) Take a deep breath and do not flame back, that only causes more trouble.
2) Put on some heavy metal to help release anger if needed ( ;) )
3) Download the thread via thread tools menu. and PM a Super Moderator (If it was a Super Moderator that insulted you, PM another one, or MentaL if he is on)
4) Sit back, relax, refresh your browser every few seconds and wait for it :)

in the past and even now there are some mods , i say mods , who jump on sight and were sending some weird pms , even were editing the entire posts instead of just Quoting it and making the warning.

Reason for Server Attacks is mainly due to the stupidity of some Mods and some posts that case certain wars among certain people


If they would get along and not act like some kids complain about their dicks ( I got a bigger dick than yours kind of stuff ) this wouldnt happen

I had a long version... but forum screwed up... well you all prefer the short version anyway ;)

Basicly Karnage promised us a good server with no wipes, server crashed, we lost everything, discussion were made what to do, during that time Karnage promised us a new server, and in the end he left L2 yet again, screwing us over yet again.

I made a post saying fuck him and that he shouldn't bother hosting if he can't even do a proper job (very little flaming), Triumph removed this pretty much completely (nothing of my point was still there, and infact he edited in a way that it looked like i said what he said... which i truely hate and is bad abuse imo), then gave me a 30% warning, i was later banned.

DTB did quite a bit of flaming, but mostly directed to some idiot n00b who doesn't like DTB's position on the old L2 (DTB was leader of the only alliance ingame, which was at that moment stronger then all other players combined), instead of Triumph deleting the spam of this idiot (who was completely offtopic and was just trying to annoy DTB), he just watched DTB carefully and edited/deleted his posts.

At the end of the day Triumph was simply abusing his mod powers bad, the post that i got 30% warning for, and probably the reason i was banned (even though MentaL couldn't see what it said, he probably would have agreed with me if he saw it...) was just fine, yes i did say fuck Karnage, but Karnage did screw us all over again, mods don't have immunity, you can't give us shit and then protect yourself by these no flaming mods rule.


Btw no one should play L2, Triumph is a shitty mod, but also a shitty server host, and you MentaL shouldn't even allow to host him for RZ, he's bad news.

There too many mods imo. Some good, some shit, but mostly i see them giving warnings/banning ppl for disagreeing with their opinion. isnt like the old RZ used to be!! I remember when the mods all had a laugh and were part of the community and didnt idolise hitler =( (Are a lot of good mods too though! I'm at 50% warning but that was fair enough so im not aving a dig at that =P) I feel like a pensioner moaning about how things are these days! DTB should be a mod again, and bring back speedhorn/sic!!

It's why i don't really like big forums really, it's much harder to maintain, there used to be a time that a few people could moderate the whole forum, now you need lots.

Now in reality lots of mods doesn't need to be the problem, the problem is how they get added, MentaL just asks for applications and ever n00b on this forum replies to it, and many even get mod aswell. I see mods with 200-300 posts that i never seen before, now sure there are lots of sections i don't visit, and i really don't have to know them, but thing is, that if i don't know them, then i doubt MentaL knows them, as i think he also sticks with the general sections and some of the server forums.

There is no real solution, except perhaps make stricter rules for them to work with.
I got this 30% warning and i message Exclamatio about it, and he says show me the post where you got the warning for, while that's hard to show as the whole post been changed, so i'd say a no edit policy, just warn the person, or delete it (deleted posts can be seen by moderators for those who don't know)

If you got this many mods, then you simply needs mods to moderate the mods.

I agree that mods shouldnt just applicate and all...
anyone with brains can write a professional application.
I think mods should have shown that they can apply common sense anytime, and don't let their feelings about a person make them stray.

Also, only S-mods should get editing power. Normal mods imo are just there to lock the useless stuff and warn people.

What Im trying to say is, that a mod should have community approval, and not just a fancy application form. If a guy with only 30 posts gets approved by the community then he can be a mod yes...

And well, the editing....
Since it seems several mods are abusing this power, imo there should be some way to restrict this abuse.
Sure, editing is needed at times, but often just locking (or deleting) and warning will do the job just fine.

Yes you can see who edited, but you can't see what's been edited, so in my case i'm screwed because Triumph just makes it look like i was the 1 out of line, instead of him.

Yea thats what we (LostShards) do in several other forums too. We also have an actual mod registration form open when needed, that it self by test results limits 70% of the applications before there actually sent, same with beta testing, ect..

Can i just say..... Every time i come back to RZ there’s always the same argument going on about mods etc. Will there ever be a set of mods that wont cause this sort of trouble? Even way back when me + neo + others were the mods etc... we still had this sorta problem (just not as bad as this).

I didn't want to speak up at first, I still feel out of place saying this, but Triumph was way out of line. There was not a trace of "flaming," but a disagreement among peers. I think DTB should be reinstated, and Triumph should re-evaluate his attitude, and perceptions towards others. He is not the focus of RageZone, and shouldn't be allowed such a say in a minor issue.

As I remember the situation, Triumph had actually insulted DTB, and then locked some of DTBs' threads out of a personal vendetta. DTB then openly stated the issue of Triumph and himself, and then Triumph whined us to death. If anything, Triumph deserves to be demodded, if this is the fact of the matter.

Moderators don't get removed when they flame, moderators get removed when the shit starts about them, and gets out of control.

It's the same with bans, i lost GohanSSJ account because to many were crying, and got JSSnahoG banned for 2 days because there was to much shit, but the fact that i didn't really deserve either bans doesn't change a thing.

The victims response, if negative, can also result in a harsh punishment, and in the case that the victim being a mod, a demotion.

Thats what I believe should be the anti-flaming rule.

DTB had all the right as a regular person to get pissed and go flaming on the boards, it's what everybody (Most people) do, however, as a mod, he should've taken an act past what most people would do and insted, try to get a decent talk over it. I don't believe Triumph was editing DTB's posts simply to piss him off, but he himself was pretty ticked off considering he's had to moderate an [unstable] L2 server for so long. Sometimes the L2 forum looked almost like a MU baby with all the pointless and whining posts in it (Not insulting you DTB, yours weren't nearly as bad) that it could easily drive any mod to the brink of insanity and do some pretty careless things.

Course' even if I say all this it doesn't do crap. I think Mental did what was best and tempo banned DTB. It might seem harsh now, but it's better than making yourself seem like a fool due to some brief anger issues. Either way, I can't say either party was the bad guy here... and I have no idea how an entire "Damn we have crap mods" thread can start up from this.

Course' even if I say all this it doesn't do crap. I think Mental did what was best and tempo banned DTB. It might seem harsh now, but it's better than making yourself seem like a fool due to some brief anger issues. Well the L2 Mods can always Delete the threads WITHOUT Editing it , they also can close it without Editing posts

And well sorry my friend but i dissagre with you , If Mu section still exists and Yes that section can drive someone Mad , noone ever edited posts ( well a few exceptions ) to the point of altering all the post itself , Unfortunately forum doesnt save 1st post ( original ) even if its edited

Triumph could had always send a pm to Dtb asking him to calm down and explaining ( if there was anything to explain ) the reason of what happened

and well if a Game is badly run ( too many bugs no add-ons or innovations , then it shouldnt even be on RZ or have RZ name

Look to Mir2 , you see Mental working on it , look to mir 3 it had johnny workiing on it , but due to a few problems it was taken down

Any Game with RZ under it , should be PREMIUM , should have stability , should have new things that others dont have, this isnt , get server files , install run and let it run , without making tweaks or other things

About how this went to "Crap mods" lets say that this comes from a long long time ago and while we had ppl who could make a diference from RZ forum and other stuff , it seems that now we dont


1 example ( and i know i'm going to piss someone )

a member saying YOU SUCK , mod does 50% warning , doesnt send him a PM or doesnt even put the reason on the warning ( Member gets pissed cos he doesnt know why he had the warning ( and saying spamm or because i want isnt a reason ) and posts something saying WHY blabla

Mod then gives another warning , deleted thread , or edits the entire post just to make his warning ( when he could use the mod tools to leave the warning on his post without editing ) , member posts a 3rd time ( this time Mod wants a ban because he's Flamming ) - No comments

Someone calls a Mod NOOB , Mod cries and edits post and even temp ban him or gives a 100% warning ( Yes this is true )

Someone steals your GF , mod gets to RZ and BAM you fucked for life

Mods should have PATIENCE of a Saint ( but well it could be just me since i think i'm the oldest Member of the Team , except Mental father :P )

I do know that DTB got in the middle of something , despise he having any reason or not , or even if the ban is correct or not , but on the old times DTB did corrected a lot of the new mods on their english or other parts , and now some do seem to jump on him because he's no longer Super Mod or Mod

but if a Mod cant understand constructive posts , even if there's a few bad words then i dont know what his doing on that position

( You suck - yes i do suck - tits ( if i'm a male ) this is an example )
( You're Gay - Yes i am gay ( Gay = Happy in the dictionary )

I could go on and on and on


And i could even tell you that the RZ problems ( attacks this week ) was due to some problems between certain mods and other forum , but thats another story , that I'm dealing with.


PS none of the above applies to the MU section - that sectin is special and has 0% tolerance - you fail - you dead on that sectoin :P

But RZ isnt just MU , L2 , Mir2 , there's a lot more and those parts need special and EDUCATION from mods when dealing with it , not all are kids wanting to make a server neither are noobs wanting to play a server

Some mods defenitly go out of their way to annoy people like me or DTB, we are both 1 of the oldest members around, and they think it's hard to get 1 of us.
Triumph is probably loving it right now, stupid for him though as he messed with me, which is stupid.

What Triumph did was pure abuse, edit post completely and give 30% warning for a very shitty reason, and in the end there is no proof
